Thats not using the hoon laws, as steve said its just standard run of the mill reckless drving charge. Dont know if you can be reported by some random though, that doesnt sound right. I think the cops have to see you doing something wrong to charge you for it, i think. Too true there steve. The hoons laws are just there for scare factor. Gotta remember that because of speed cameras cops being pricks stupid laws being past etc etc nobody repects the law anymore as they just see it as the govt scewing ppl over for no good reason apart from votes. Therefore peopl who lose their licenses will continue drving anyway so you have to take their car away to stop them. Chicken and the egg kind of argument i know, speed cameras started it i reckon. I lost my lic due to double demerits which is another stupid scheme proven by this easters road toll but i didnt drive for 3 months, not for fear of another 9 months or more fines but because i played the game and lost, thems the rules. Alot of ppl i know just continue driving if they lose their license, they just dont respect the law especially the younger ppl. Not that i blame em i mean why would they? cops busting heads at parties, leavers and then targeting them for having p plates and now this. Just proves that zero tolerance does not work i think.

Hmm god point, it does do that doesnt it, i think the cap has a crappy plastic valve in it. So u can get lower pressure but not higher pressure. It would prolly not stand up to any serious pressure though, just there to stop fumes leaking out.

Hey ive decided if i get done for being a hoon, im getting my car back. I will tell this to the judge and the police too. Unless of course i was doing something really stupid of course, then i deserve it. Cant be that hard to get you car back out of the impound lot. Its my property and i have a right to it, screw this hoon law thing its a violation of our rights a citizens of Australia. Even if they did make an amendment to suit its still bs. They can take my license and i wont drive and the car wont move (like i did a couple of months back) but taking the car! dont think so.

Leaving the engine running can cause static buildup and then u get an arc from the nozzle to the tank filler and boom. Thats y all aircraft have a little wire that you attach to a grounding point when u fill it up, on or off. A few years back some goons in PNG were doing a hot refuel on a Puma and it went pear shaped cause some fool forgot to ground it, boom 20 odd ppl dead.
