Kinda hard to judge ppl by any other means. The short little guy looks like he gets bashed at least once a month so u can assume he had something to do with it, or is he just unlucky and wouldnt hurt a fly? think not. Same as the guy i saw buying a single can of black spray piant in repco the other day while his buddy waits outside, chapped lips, bloodshot eyes, overall messy appearance. You think he was gonna go paint something? dont think so.

I think its obvious they were playing up for the camera. Apart from the little guy with the napoleon complex, looks like he makes a habit of that kind of behaviour. "take off your badge and you gun" pft too many movies for that moron and too many beatings as a child or something. Yeh being a cop does suck. We deal with cops/nurses etc all day at work and you would believe how many have just fried their brains from constantly going to fatal accidents, murders, ppl bashed, ODs etc etc. The few who do make it to retirement age are usually very distraught. So consider that cops are still people, some are morons just like some lebos but most just wanna live life and be happy. They dont need a bunch of goons giving em crap for doing their jobs.

I think the problem is that people ar NOT paying attention to TV as much as they did in days gone by. Therefore they only see what is in front of them and what directly affects them. So some guy telling you that salinity is a problem aust wide or that we are running out of water is now seen as standard run of the mill sensationalism and nobody pays attention till they cant get food or water all of a sudden. Sure the older generations still watch that crap and so too the uneducated types but id like to think that we are steering away from the bad old days. I heard a speaker the other day talking about the X Generation and he mentioned that we were very wary of "phonies" i believe that is true. Most people know if someone is trying to make them swallow something they dont want to. Sure hypo cars have always been around but they were never this fast, reliable and cheap.

You can get a car from anywhere. Its all about trust really. A car is the second biggest purchase most people will make in their lives so they wanna feel safe. Plus its just professional, do you really wanna hand over 40k to a guy in stubbies and a wifebeater?

I think this story is a great illustration of what is wrong with the world. 1/ Politicians/police keep pushing for bs fines like speed cameras, defects and general annoyances that do make revenue, yes thats not the only reaseon i know, someone needs to do "something". Therefore nobody respects the law as the law does not respect the people. Canada canned all their speeds cameras becuase of this. 2/ the media constantly rants about "blanket alerts" and "danger will robinson danger!!!" how it effects you and why you should lock yourself in the home. This has made the media untrustworthy as they have cried wolf too many times. Now if old Johnny wants to actaully say something nobody listens because they dont trust him anymore and why should they? I mean come on who actually watched this report when it aired? Ray Martin makes me physically ill when i hear his voice so i havent seen an episode in years. And the lebs, there are ppl like that all over, hanging around out front of burger joints at bars, anywhere u like. Some are oka aussies soem are chinese whatever. After all thsi "anti social" crap they cant hang around the main drags anymore or the cops will tell em to move on so they gotta stay in motion. Do you really think ppl like thiis will go away? no they just move to other places where aca will inevitably follow. damn that was longer than expected

Totally agree there eXc. The only option is a semi fascist govt. ppl dont know whats good for em anyway. The recent rally aust thing shows this, we should have had 10 times the amount of people there. You could try shadecloth, ive seen that done before. try looking in the phone book for suppliers of that kind of stuff, they should set you on the right track. Are you going to paint the front bar first?

hmm sounds like u guys are pretty badly done by. When im bored ill often just call up and say "can i come and test drive a ******" then swing past and do it. Dont always call ahead though. Last time i had a day off went down in my boardies and thongs and took a spin in the rx8 not bad i reckon but needs more power. Yeh the dump and cooler might go to waste on a GTS. Autos are just giving away control. some ppl like it, some dont. Pisses me off that there is no connection between engine and road apart from some viscous fluid. U just dont get the same feeling. Plus i dont trust autos and their changing through corners technique.

What is a "chip"? reminds me of the days when the cops had standard VTs but theirs were "chipped" with pursuit rims m8. The safc is just fuel control, the rom will do it all. Safc is really just a bandaid but it is better than leaving it stock and u can mess with it easy. Oh and lets not forget the blinding blue light on the dash.

Just that the ROM is not as adjustable as an aftermarket ecu. The price difference was considering that you already have the Safc.

I hear that the full remap is the better option but that takes a little more work and hterefore more money. U get what you pay for in this case. Hyperdrivems.com.au should be able to help you out with this one.

Was watching media watch the other day and they were running a story about TT and ACA and how they have a series of shows that are guarenteed to make decent ratings. Implant free breast enlargement, the ultimate diet and of course street racing. Did they show the footage of the black VR baking it up onto leach hwy out of maccas? they love that shot. No clever editiing, nothing clever about it, just stock stories re run with a new opening statement. These things go around once every 6 months at least, its just tripe, i wouldnt get too worried about it. oh and they let porsches on teh road because nobody can afford the 200+k to buy one.

Im now convinced i have an air leak someplace and figure hey, why not get some of that sprung wound heat resistant rubber hose to do teh DMIC (dodgy mount inter cooler) Save your insults and "ya dumbass, use mild steel!!!" comments, i know the dangers of rubber hose, just looking for a good hose supply place hopefully south of river. Wow ive never seen one of those before, it it in aus? I have the 87 sedan version of exactly that. ca-18det fwd. The only one in WA as far as i can tell and ive looked very hard. Oh its a Nissan Auster Xtt i believe they were made in the UK by nissan UK. Hey btw any1 got a wiring diagram for that thing?
