  6. the cores running along the cooler r damaged, i can c 2 that r cracked open and the 3rd not sure, overall the damage is less the 2 inches long in the centre. the fins im not too woried about.
  7. i got told if u leave the attessa system disabled for too long it will damage the transfer case eventually...how true is this???
  8. just wanna kno how much is a rb20 engine, gearbox, and computer worth???
  9. i dont know if this is a possibility but could the waste gate be not working right which results in overboosting??? could this be the reason for the sudden power increase to cause wheel spin in 2nd. if it is overboosting then won't it also cause the needle to go off scale??? sum1 correct me if i'm wrong....

  11. feel ur pain dude, my previous ride got broken into twice and it sucks!!! don't worry too much, could of been worst.
  12. i always thought puttin a turbo in n/a engine is a bit iffy cauz the compression ratios r different and to do it u'd have try and change the gaskets and stuff to get the right ratio. as far as performance goes unless u match the ratios then u can run the same boost as standard otherwise u have to run lower boost to avoid damage which means less power?? if i'm wrong in this ....then please correct me.... i reckon just car insurance is pretty good for modded cars but i think they check nominated drivers records. jay

  15. me mates got a 98 supra tt with vvti 6 speed, Goez hardd!! especially extra fun with traction control off!!!! raced him with my r32, we were side by side up till fourth, then he slowly got his nose ahead. Mines modified (grade 1 import). his was stock. me other friend has a NA supra 94 5 speed....not bad, goez ok for a NA. i think for some reason supra's have one of the nicest sounding exhaust when done right. but the interior to me isn't that good especially for the passenger, i've always said 'the interior is totalling snobbing the passenger!!' my 2.25 cents worth jay

  18. i desperately need a r32 gtst shell, something like a blown engine/gearbox, or even if they are missing. condition of the shell is not a big issue, although good condition car is preferable but it really doesn't matter. i just need a rolling shell. if anyone out there has one or knows a mate who's got one pleeeease let me know!!! thanx jay
  19. from these gauges which 3 would u choose and why boost, oil temp, oil pressure, water temp i want to put set of 3 gauges on the center dash (like GTR's) but cant decide. i was thinkin of eliminating oil pressure but hav been told the standard ones r shit. any opinions ??? thanx jay

  22. i was under the impression all coilovers were ajusted with c spanners, this is the 1st time i'm hearing of clips.......whoa man!!! ur spinin me out !!! :-)
  23. hey ppl raced my mates 98 supra tt wit vvt-i, his is full stock, mine is grade 1 import. We were side by side all da way until top of 4th wen he pulled away 1/4 car length (i had a better take off ). what do u think... i reckon da fact his block is bigger ( 3.0L ) is why he got me.... now i gotta do some mods so he can c my rear end fly by him but the problem is that his is dead stock!! once he spends some money on the beast as he calls it, i'm gone....:-) chow chow jay
  24. hey ppl, jus wanna kno where duz everyone get dyno runs done and how much u payin? i kno there is some performance places around sydney but is there a difference between them beside the costs? eg ultra tune versus rigoli.... thanx jay
