  1. what about changing diff ratios 4.11, utilizing the gtr 33 v spec diffs? would make the car feel more responsive but you'll be shifting alot more often but it would be more fun on track days. I've also Binned my A-LSD aswell...
  2. V2 hypertune plenum is all bolted on, it did take me by surprise how far it was located. But we'll cut a hole in the panel, pic below... Piping will be all good just some panel work. Trigger system is up in the air, we may go custom like in ibomu gtr or modify my standard item
  3. Having a look at the os 88 Fuel system now going into the trunk 2200cc Bosch injectors Playing around with oil catch can and dummy fitted a turbo
  4. I've got the head drain that's going back to sump, i had the oil catch can next to the fuse box but looks like we'll need to customise another one as the hypertune plenum extended more then we anticipated, also mite be running another catch can on the other side, all Lines are plumb back into sump.
  5. Update time... Picked up genuine ganador mirrors in bayside blue, had a win as these are discontinued Got the sump back today from the diff shop, now with 4.3 ratio's and it's a hi octane sump extension Surprise surprise engine is in! the harmonic balancer and stock tigger setup is being changed soon!
  6. Pics please of the n1 block
  7. Why black? Doesn't draw to much attention if u get pulled over by the cops. In Brisbane they will book us for any modifications that aren't stock, so it's best to keep it stock looking at possible. But to late now for me ?
  8. Can't go wrong with the V2, if u can afford it why not. I just wish I had mine painted black
  9. Seems ok for what it is at full boost 5,200, it's only 2.6 with cams! Here's the dyno sheet, not very good quality
  10. Just seen a dyno sheet of 6870 - n1 bottom end and pon cams, made 653hp (486kw) on 24psi e85 Full boost 5,200rpm
  11. 6266 would be my choice.
  12. feel sorry for u Pete, if only CRD would just answer your questions, most of your issues would be sorted. Very poor form CRD!
  13. like this guy says... Expensive lesson, I'm not risking it as its taken me over 1yr already!
  14. it's not just the crank that will let you rev, need good head. Also dual valve spring will help to make it safe to rev.
  15. Yeah i have mentioned a have a sweet spot for the 6466, we originally had the 7175 but I chose to change to 6870 for a better spool. 6466 won't give me 950hp maybe on kill mode! 6870 gives me more room if I do change my mind and want to push the envelope Thanks for the info
  16. no I don't have a thread if that's what your asking? I have different components from just your normal off the shelf nitto 2.7 kit.But enough about me this is a precision turbo thread, sorry for getting off the topic.
  17. Me and my tuner know it can make whatever we want it to make, the motor is good for 1200hp but I'm not about pushing it to its limits. His seen N1 blocks crack at 600-700hp. It's a street car, and I want it to last as long as I can as this engine isn't just a normal off the shelf stroker kit!
  18. Yes it will be on e85, I'm after a safety factor as this is a brand new engine and its street driving. I know I can make 1000hp but where do u draw the line? I'm drawing the line at a safe 30psi Street driven all day long, then pushing it to its limits just for a numbers game! At power cruise events it will be pushed upto 950hp with gas. Also my engine hasn't been sleeved and has stock girdles, so that's mostly why I'm holding back.
  19. That's impressive, not just peak power but down low as well. I wanted to know the capacity as I'm planning to run 30psi (2.7) and hoping to get 850hp from the 6870 But it seems likely I won't get there.
  20. yeah your probably right, Pete would want boost happening at 2000rpm. but I'm biase as I have a sweet spot for the 6466
  21. CRD time attack bnr34 supporting a stroker 2.7 precision 6466, is that a responsive setup?
