  1. Least you know the tune would be spot on for WOT in 5th gear haha
  2. Id bet my soarer would be within 50kgs of an R34 coupe. So if the Soarer is a boat what do you guys an R35 or even a V35 as? I still love my Boat though haha
  3. Shame you are putting it away. any videos on how it sounds with the pipe?
  4. I would never have thought of that hahaha.
  5. Could plumb in just after the cat, "should" be a low pressure area too (in theory)
  6. DONT DO IT flamin mongrel

  9. the EVO lancer has nothing in common with the grocery getter version of the Lancer, this has been said a few times. A rwd Skyline is really a run of the mill jap taxi, there is nothing overly special about them, sure plenty of aftermarket support, but a VN V8 commodore does too. If you want a "nice" sports coupe, have a look at a Soarer/Supra, RX7 Compare the quality of the interior of the Mazda and the Tojo's to a Skyline, its like comparing a 1970's Fiat to the lastest from BMW. In my opinion my R33 felt cheap and nasty compared to my current Soarer. I'm sure some fanboi's will try and flame me for saying this. All I can say is open your eyes, yes the Skylines are quite a nice car and can be made quick for cheap, but my Soarer and plenty of other cars (including local ones) can be every bit as quick as a rear drive skyline, just takes a bit more nous than ebay bolt ons. Anyhoo, back on topic lol. Daily drving to work and having fun on the track or up mountain passes, I would take the EVO any day of the week. If you want to do long distance touring, than go a Skyline/Soarer/Aristo or anyother turbo 6 pot out there.
  10. Also just to add to Kenny's posts. You dont HAVE to leave on the last amber light, the timing doesnt start until you break the stageing beams, so you can sit there and get your RPM right and get settled in the car, obviously dont sit there for too long or they will red light you. However when the adrenalin is pumping and you want to beat the guy in the other lane. drop that clutch as soon as the last amber light flicks on. Also does WSID still run the old style reaction times (0.400 being perfect) or the new way (0.000 being perfect)?
  11. You should try the guys at willowbank, make some of the WSID guys seem like angels haha.
  12. I agree that 40psi is too much, but too little does the same for traction, I found 28-30 in my car worked best
  13. Paul - with bugger all sidewall, dropping pressures makes it worse, as you just end up running on the outside edges of the tyre.
  14. Would a Nitrous bottle warmer work, or would it not get hot enough?
  15. Nothing really
  16. ahhh I see. the thread makes sense now.
  17. yeah, I read you have a GT35R
  18. 107mph? I ran 105 with under 200rwkws
  19. what the eff is "blacks"
  20. water methanol injction
  21. Ash - The Mafia has/had 320rwkw or something with a .63 I/G 3076 on the stock manifold, did have WMI though
  22. Solid cams + hydraulic lifters = chewed out lifters and cam + massive lifter pump up issues.
  23. There is no other way of having aftermarket launch control without being the "damaging kind" I had a PFC pro on the R33, many many 2 step launches later the oil pump and turbo were fine
  24. ah thats what i might be thinking of the push type. Could convert it easy enough though
  25. Gizmo do one, but its a 2-step limiter more than anything
