    Got the vb running. ..it then preceded to overheat in 60 secs. Blow the cap off and shower me in boiling liquid. Then it caught fire... Any one want a slightly singed 1979 commodore?

    Well....the motor runs...... But Transmission - broken Overheated in 2 mins flat. Blew the cap off and showered me in scalding hot liquid Wouldn't be so bad had the car not tried to burn itself to the ground. .. Oh well No more project commodore

    Haha. Still have it...dickhead buyer never showed. ..will get a Bankstown racing grey paint job over xmas But no money atm so progress is painfully slow...bought an "ecu" for it the other week....and by ecu I mean a holley 4 barrel. Yet to find a machinist who isnt a rip off in Canberra so no real progress on the motor... But I did repair the head on the 3.3l 6 potter. So may even register it next year and drive it around a bit

    I repaied a cylinder head yesterday for the 300 dollar shit box. Total cost 32 bucks for a vrs kit. Going to be the most awesome car for the money.. .after I get the brakes working. Re paint the whole thing and find out if the trans and diff is ok..... Then finish the veeeeee eeeiiigghhhttt and give it some spray. 11 sec cheap car ftmfw
