  3. Still waiting on Vipec & a tune, will run out of time by a week or two At best I'll be able to drive my car to the track to watch on a run in tune lol
  4. And you haven't messaged me about this why?? lol Sourced a lot of parts for my build, depending on what you're after exactly I know of some places on top of what already has been mentioned
  5. Very, very nice looking car. Good work!
  6. You won't save much money out of something retailing at $115...
  7. I have a spare N1 water pump for sale, the one I ordered didn't arrive for just over a month so was sent another express....that arrived 3 days before the originally posted item. $270 delivered Cheers, Nathan
  8. Mine will also be going to ASG in the near future, only place my builder sends cars to be tuned
  9. Great news mate, hopefully the damage isn't too bad! All the best
  10. The car I bought had an already rebuilt 25, but the company that did it cut too many corners, as found the more it was pulled apart...dodgy as fk considering the guy I bought it off had paid 10k for it. I was devo because I sold my forged bottom end 25 as I thought I no longer needed it buying a built car It's being rebuilt again properly now, hopefully it holds up at this years event lol
  11. The way it was said to have driven off & how it's ended up crashed, I'd be surprised if it was anything other than thrashed. Sure looks like it will be a write off, a lot of damage
  12. Raise you a blown motor??
  13. This event is now full, even though there was an awesomely underwhelming response from here
  14. Hi all, A mate of mine is looking at booking a special screening (Gold Class) of the Ayrton Senna movie on August 13th, and we are looking to get the numbers needed to make this go ahead. We can have a minimum of 26 to a maximum of 34, at the moment we have 11 confirmed so 15+ seats available. Innaloo cinemas, 6pm, Saturday August 13th. This is copied direct off the facebook event page with the details: Quote: Hey Guys, I extend an invitation to my friends and the petrol heads residing in the sleepy little town of Perth. With the assistance of Event Cinema's I have managed to organise a one off private screening of the documentary about one of the most revered and worldly celebrated icons in the history of F1 - Ayrton Senna. Tickets cost $80.25 per seat. (I need payment by the 29th, msg me for details) Start time is 18:00. For a second, imagine sitting back in sheer comfort whilst your waited on, as your senses are assaulted when your strapped into the seat of an MP4, stunned in sheer awe as Senna tears around a track, say Donnington, in the wet? You will be plummeted into this seemingly Hollywood characters life on and off the track, you will experience all his influences and his achievements are celebrated through this film. Start time is 18:00 with half an hour to meet and greet before we are ushered into the cinema at 18:30. For your money you get; • Arrival beverage – sparkling, beer, or wine • Bread & Dips Platter served in the lounge - Hummus and guacamole, served with toasted The land of goat sphincter rings slices, grissini sticks, marinated olives and feta-stuffed peppers • In Cinema - sparkling, beer, or wine Tasting Plate to consist of: • Our unique mini Beef burger with sweet tomato relish, cheese & fresh tomato • Tempura-battered Flat Head, served with beer-battered bad boy chips • Chicken Skewer with roasted capsicum and onion with satay peanut sauce I will be asking again shortly for full payment for your tickets. You wont actually receive your tickets until the event. Initial estimates are 26 seats, however we have the ability to expand to 34. If you know anyone who would be interested please invite them too. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me either. Trailer below; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrbJPsPtTyU IMDb link below; http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1424432/ Topgear tribute below; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNmqn3heGgE So basically, if you are interested in this, post or PM me on here. I will have payment details by tomorrow, should we not have the numbers money will be refunded. No "maybe" about it, we need to know confirmed numbers cos we don't want to waste peoples time over this. Got until the end of this week basically, and hopefully this will be able to go ahead!! Cheers guys, Nathan
  15. Who won?
  16. Lucky you, a couple of years ago while I was waiting for my permits I had to pay for about 3 different inspections (that all passed, but had to wait for permits) that gave me 3 weeks maximum. Took about 4 months before I got approved
  17. The only kind of person I don't know that I'd give $50 to that I might not get back is called a croupier.... The moral of the story is that yes, this situation sucks. But it's also the kind of situation you have insurance for. If you can't afford it, you can't afford the car. Best of luck that it turns up and/or is salvageable
  18. Boss-zilla got it just about right, it depends on the buyers out there. I'm looking for a new daily at the moment, but the type of car I want just isn't out there. And if it is, people are wanting too much for them. I'm after a 02-05 commodore ute, but realistically priced ones are hard to find. That, and the one I'm most keen to see is up in Kalbarri for another week or so before I can lol And that said, even though ideally I'd like a ute, I will hopefully be looking at a WRX this weekend, all because what I want isn't out there
  19. Price dropped to $2000, I'll lose a bit of money this way but I'd really like this gone. If it doesn't sell at this price chances are I'll pull it apart & part it seperately, as everything is new!
  20. $2000, just moved house & want this gone as I just don't have the time As such I don't have good internet yet, so any questions or whatever sms me on 0400 218 170. For any eastern staters keep in mind the time difference in the morning Cheers! Nathan
  21. Bought this bottom end but I'm thinking about taking another path with a build, so putting this up for sale for the price it was bought for. It was bought with what is in the list, & it has never been started. All the machining etc was done at South Side engine centre (Perth). Although this does need to be stripped back down & cleaned, that is relatively cheap & will give piece of mind. Bottom end only but no sump: Block was crack tested, decked, bored & honed Acid tank parts Polished crank Chamfer oil holes Balanced engine Fit aluminium plugs Fit rods to pistons N1 oil pump & crank collar Oil pump sleeve machined & fitted ACL race series forged pistons ARD forged rods ACL bearings ARP main studs It may have ARP rod bolts but the guy wasn't completely sure, but to be safe I'd recommend getting it opened up & double checked & fitting them if not, they are the best type & the bolts can be considered just as, if not more important than the rods themselves. All in all it's a pretty decent package which is why I bought it, but at the moment just not 100% sure I want to commit to the project so if it sells it sells Located in Perth but can ship at buyers expense $2000 PM or email me [email protected]
  22. It was still there this morning, can see the skid marks still on the freeway & they weren't that far away from taking out the light pole either. Lucky to be in hopsital for sure
