  1. I have recently upgraded my sways bars, so my standard ones are up for sale. removed from a 94 R32 GTR. The set make a great upgrade for r32 gts-4. rear one will fit gts-t, s13, s14 and i presume other nissans with a similar subframe. $100 each or $180 for the set! prefer pick up. Located east melbourne. pm for more detail.
  2. Hi Nigel. From your post its hard to understand what the issue is, but it might just be the way you explained it. I recently put lightweight shock proof in my stock gtr diff and had issues. Basically when i was trying to corner or park the car, the rear of the car would shudder and the diff would feel like and open one. It felt like the oil wouldn't let the diff bind up. i put motul back in, and the problem cleared up instantly. Maybe drop the redline oil and try something else and see if it solves your problem.
  3. yep, still have the coil packs. were working fine when removed.
  4. yep shockproof, otherwise known as smurf blood.
  5. i have used redline in my gtr for 2.5 years and cant fault it. I had a crunchy 3rd gear with motul, but now its smooth as with the redline. some people say redline should be used in a synchro box, but until someone can give me a good reason why not, i'll keep using it, as it has transformed my gearbox.
  6. Parts removed from a 1994 R32 GT-R. Standard coil packs to suit R32 and R33 RB26dett, rb20det and series one rb25det. $100 Rb26dett manifolds match ported/honed. $50ono x3 silicon/rubber intercooler pipes $40ono standard castor arms in good condition $40 ono Location: East Melbourne. pm for contact details.
  7. i'll be skiing up that way over that weekend so i might come and do a few laps, weather permitting.

Either or wouldn't matter for a service. I go to revzone as they are just down the road plus my cousin works there. Get a quote, you might be surprised by the price difference. For something more major like an engine rebuild, i would go to racepace as they as the RB experts in my opinion.
  9. I'm looking for one genuine gtr badge for an R32 boot. will also accept r33 and r34 badges. I'm also keen on r32 N1 headlights, rear boot lip and front bonnet lip. Located in Melbourne (east). pm if you can help me. thanks. Ben.
  10. with the right leverage you can undo most things. i had to put my car up on a hoist, attach a very long steel bar to the breaker bar, get underneath the car, and get two people to swing off it. not the most professional way of doing it, but it worked.
  11. one of my favorites of me taking a nap while launching. cant be good for 60ft times.
  12. these wheels are made in the Philippines and are obviously made to a price. that being said, they wont give you a problem unless that are subjected to forces that they are not designed for (heavy side impact from a gutter). The damage pictures look pretty dramatic, but with out knowing the circumstances leading up to the wheel failing, it shouldn't be concluded that Rota wheels are any worse that a lot of other brands in the same price range. From memory Rotas in a 18x9.5 size cost about $1200 for a set shipped to your door direct from the factory in the Philippines.
  13. i have S1 r33/r32 gtr coil packs as well as r32 gtr cooler. pm if interested! i also have a few injectors.
  14. totally agreed. all dyno's a different and atmospheric conditions are different on any given day....but there is a point at which you start thinking there is either a problem with the car or a problem with how the dyno is calibrated. i think your stated power output is over that point where you start to wonder what the hell is going on. I am just keen to see your car reach its potential and there might be something simple holding you back from a fair chunk of extra power and torque. Once again, thanks for taking the time to do the write up. I wish i had taken photos and done a write up when i did mine.
  15. Great write up. I always enjoy a technical thread. I have to say i would have expected more power with all those mods (at least 290-300kw at 17psi). Have you considered adjustable cam gears? i think they are one of the best bang for buck modifications.
  16. I have had a very similar problem. i spent ages looking at all the connections and switches, even using new switches, rebuilding old switches, and making new connections. In the end i gave up and just crimped a wire from the working side to the dead side and got them both running. It was originally a temporary fix until i got time to have another look but we all know how that goes!
  17. with a +30 offset such as the R34 gtr rims, 255 or 265 35 will be fine without rolling guards. Personally i think +30 offset in a 9 inch rim looks a bit odd on a gtr as they sit to deep within the guards. At minimum an R32 GTR should have at least +22 offset to fill out the fat guards (imho). I have 18x9.5 +15 offset rims with 255 35 tyres and required a small amount of guard rolling as it was rubbing ever so slightly.
  18. looks like Quinn might have it in the bag! there is reports of Weeks and his Lambo having an off road excursion.
  19. you could have a wheel balance weight loose. i have fixed two in the last year that were ticking.
  20. pm femno, he should be able to hook you up.
  21. yep. my GTR made 70awkw less as well. They must have had there settings for GTRs a bit out. Anyway, i'm glad its there dyno rather than my car!
