well once u take them out you hit the head down bit by bit till it is a 0.8mm gap. Thats how I was told to do it. And then you check on those little ruler thingy's that you slide the plug along to make sure your gap is correct. But I'd rather go and by new plugs that are gapped correctly just incase I stuff up something.

Ive been running 11 psi on my standard r33 s1 turbo for nearly a year. Its not too much boost. They say that the standard turbo shouldnt be boosted above 13 psi too much cause it can lead to cracks in the ceramic wheel a lot sooner but even so i know of people who have boosted to 14 psi every now and then. You were just unlucky that ur turbo carked it on 11 psi. it might have been mistreated earlier on in its life.

OK well I think i have the answer. My car leaks out vapour and does no have the schweppes pshhhhhh sound. But I looked at my mates cap which works properly and the difference was a real thin rubber ring which I remember taking off the fuel cap cause it had already half fallen off when i first bought the car.

My S got ripped of my S1 r33 and I bought a new one. I reckon it looks heaps better with it back on!!! Its so shiny!!

Just because he crossed the line setting off the red light camera does not mean he was in a position to place himself and as you say oncoming (I say crossing) traffic in danger because the other cars do not drive along the dead left of the intersection. Take it to court. Best of Luck.

OK firstly. I ordered a set of NGK Iridiums for my RB25DET and they sent me plugs with a 1.1mm gap but they are meant to be 0.8mm. The GTR's use a 1.1mm gap. I have no idea about the heat range but I believe the main difference between Iridiums and Coppers are the amount of km's the plug will live for. I'm still using the 1.1mm gap but will change them for 0.8mm Coppers very soon as the top end is hitting a flat spot.

I've got a r33 gts-t and need a new battery. I just want something good that will last me a while and wont need maintenance. So my question is what battery do i need. Keep in mind I dont normally put the ignition to on and just play fully sick music in car parks.

GTR for sure. I'm telling all my mates who are thinking about buying cars to get a 15yr old for around 15,000. No-one believes me but.

EJ. What Duncan is trying to say is that because the rules for importing recently changed that meant the r34's couldnt be imported until the import companies had obtained their licenses. Which no-one has done yet. Or something like that. The reason Police used WRX's was that it was a locally sold car like the Fords and Holdens. They are not going to import cars for their use because that would be a waste of taxpayers money.

Ummm sorry rev210 but how is it possible for them to be achieving these times on street tyres. As far as I know only two GTR's in the country have even acheived mid/low 9's using nittos and they are Keir Wilson and Munro. They get traction problems in their 4wd equipped cars so how is it possible for the v8's not only to grab traction but finish the quarter with such low times on radial tyres. (I am trying to say they must be using slicks)

They are both really good cars. But if its going to be difficult for you to get insurance then i'd go the s14. Dont forget they are both turbo coupes so the premiums shouldnt be too different.

Well I dont see why the insurance agency wouldnt agree with it cause it would be cheaper for them in the end. But then again i aint no insurance agency.

Whats the difference between internal and external gates?

So would i just need one of those Bosch 044 Pumps? Would a Power Fc be fine for this type of power output or should I go for a microtech? I would definitely be getting a FMIC and full turbo-back 3" exhaust. I heard about a special High-flowing job that GCG or was is CGC, do for the standard turbo to help it reach or get very close to my goal. Would that be a good option?

I have a close to standard R33 gts-t and would like to reach a goal of 250rwkw. I have been told a GT2535/2540 is suitable for this kind of power. Does anyone have any other suggestions on which turbo i could use, possibly something cheaper as I heard they sell for $4000 which im not sure is true. Its a daily driver so I would like good mid range response. What will I have to upgrade to run this kind of power safely? Fuel Pump Injectors Tougher Synchros Oil Cooler And just remember I am not keen on spending millions of dollars. I just want something that will remain low-mount and make my car a quick street car. I was also told hi-flowing the standard turbo would only be good for 210rwkw. Is that true?

Thanx again. My auto electrician says thanks aswell. All we need now is a list of the codes for the rb25det ecu... something to so he can translate what the codes mean when he runs a diagnostics on the ecu.

OK is there anyway I can tell the auto electrician which wires need to be taken out or connected to where cause when my car was stolen it was hot wired and wires are hanging out from all over the place.

OK guys ill go tell the mechanic all this stuff... hes just a local mechanic and i dont think he knows too much about my car but he should be able to fix it thanx to your help guys..
