Well I havent really tried going past there cause its sounds and feels so tough on the engine. How do I reset the ecu????

My car was stolen a few weeks ago and I was fortunate enough to have it found a few suburbs away. A few bits and pieces were stolen including a Dual Stage boost controller and my SAFC. Since the car was stolen when i try to drive/rev the car it splatters at about 2000-2500 revs. At first I thought that it was the hoses that were left hanging from where the boost controller once was then i reconnected them but the problem remained. Since then I thought they could have boosted it too high and stuffed my turbo then i thought of the BOV and also the wiring to the ecu(its practically hanging on the ground now). But last night i thought about my spark plugs. I had an order placed through NGK for suitable iridiums for my RB25DET and they sent me 1.1mm gaps which I was pretty sure was wrong but they worked when i put them in so i left it like that. When the SAFC was taken out because the fine tuning was gone could that in conjunction with the spark plugs have caused the problem??? Or are there any other ideas (Air exits back through the pod filter i think because the valve on the BOV hasnt had enough force to open it.)

OK well it was only a BB gun but whoever done it used metal balls and I found six on the ground next to my but there are ten shots from the front right guard along the door and all the way to the back right panel. The back right panel also got a good knee by the *unts!!! Where they kneed my car there is no scrathing of the paint but the dent is more than 5cm deep and about 20cm accross. Each shot left a small dent and chipped off the paint so now I need to find out how much its going to cost me. My car is a two tone with silver on the top and the darker sort of grey colour at the bottom (Im colour deficient so I might be wrong). Now I have been told that it is impossible to get the same colours and just get a panel beater to smoothen out the panels and then get them affected panels resprayed. I have also heard that to blend the paint in properly it has to go across 3 panels so thats pretty much most of the car and I dont want differently shaded panels!!! So is my only choice to respray the whole car???? If so how much would this cost?? With a reputable business??? Ps. No Insurance!!!

I had 3 cops in a marked car following me on my way home after my rear plate had fallen off the night before..they came up next to me at a red light and asked why I didn't have a rear plate on and i told em i lost it the night before and they just told me to go to the RTA and get a new set or they would book me if they saw me again. I was surprised I didnt get booked for once!!

I think ive got the monster ones as spares...there at my mates garage and are three piece 17 inch rims....are a fair deal lighter than the standard nissan rims so i will be using em for track days...

is it possible to have a boost leak but the boost guage still shows that the car is running correct boost??

I pretty much chopped my mates n/a supra and i dont even have an exhaust. Another mate with a few mods in another R33 beat the both of us!

I have a GoFastBits Mach 1 BOV and its been on since i bought the car a few weeks ago. My engine was stalling due to the valve inside the BOV not closing after releasing the air pressure.. This meant that the revs would continually drop down to about 300rpm unless I quickly put the accelerator in and helped keep my engine from stalling... I took out the BOV and realised something had been keeping the valve open and it was clogged...I fiddled with it a bit and since then things have been fine!! I wouldnt be able to tell you whether stock or aftermarket BOV is better... Maybe it depends on which aftermarket one we talk about???

It was my first track day and now I've sorta seen what its about..next time ill take my car onto the track.... who saw the R34 GT-R V SPEC 2 NUR????? I took so many photos of it!! Too bad the owner didnt take it onto the track!!!

I only just got the car a few days ago and I was giving it on 7 psi then towards the end of the first day I went up to 10-11 psi and boy did it pull!!! BOOST RULZ!!

To get a blue slip in NSW what do they check on a car?? If it has aftermarket BOV and steering wheel and stuff will it pass??? And how much does it cost to get a blue slip???

For a very good alarm + installation how much do you guys think it would cost???

Is that cause of the added weight or what???

Would fitting a FMIC to a nearly stock R33 GTS-T make a noticable difference when driving even if the boost isnt tampered with????
