  1. thoughts on the look? size? now, the car is going to be used for track only and want some thoughts on a good suspension package for around 2-2.5k? what are the quick guys using at the moment?
  2. you have to take into account the weight of the car too gary....what does your gtst weigh? i would think that a gtr that hasn't been stripped would still be weighing in at 1500-1600kg.....which will need some descent brakes to pull her up after a few laps. also, anyone know the best place to get a quote on alcon brakes? anyone know much about the v8's going to a control caliper at the end of the year? i've heard they'll be selling their current setups but don't know how compatible they'll be with a gtr and also how hard it will be to get your hands on a set.
  3. i thought they sold for around 2k for the set...plus i've got a few small extras....we'll just wait and see. i was in contact with a guy at http://www.brake-pros.com/ a while back. they seem to do some good packages and they seemed willing to discount if we could order a few sets. maybe worth looking into.....just need to work out the shipping costs and gst charges on the australian side. if anyone contacts them, you can pencil me in for an ap kit.
  4. i'll be upgrading my brembo kit in the next couple of weeks and a few of you guys are talking about this package.....any ideas what it's worth to sell? off 33gtr - brembo calipers front and rear dba 4000 discs front and rear (50%) spare set of original discs (guessing around 50% too) pagid blue pads (50%) spare set of rb74 pads (50%) and original brakes lines.

  9. R33 Gtr rims (polished) with re55 semi slicks for sale $1000 Tyres around 35-45% and good for a track day, or two if you're driving miss daisy. Wheels have a few minor marks but overall in good condition - see pics. Located in sydney. Pickup only from penrith.

  11. it's a mircale....my rims arrived. a lot of people are saying they have ordered parts and never had a problem. i was the same for my first 6 or 7 orders.....all went pretty smoothly. this last order for my rims has jerked me around that much that i'll never deal with them again. i imagine if you guys had your wheels delayed for the best part of 5 months - you'd be pretty annoyed too. i had excuses like, "the supplier skipped town" to "they're leaving in the next shipment" which turned out to be a flat out lie. but the best one was "the paint is drying on the rims, it takes some time". if they hired someone with some communication skills and a bit of sympathy for their customers, maybe i would reconsider using them. what to see all the delay messages i got.....   13. i've been waiting almost 5 months for the wheels i ordered. just got tracking numbers yesterday after about 3 months of constant emails back and forward. they might have sent me bashed up old 13" cheese cutters.....we'll see what happens.
  14. my saga continues. it's now the best part of 4 months and still no sign. i've asked them on about 5 occassions how things are progressing and they have been very vague. my last request was to be refunded because i obviously need to find some wheels elsewhere, but they said that they wouldn't give me a refund. the wheels clearly haven't been made yet, so i would have thought it was the least they could do. next stop.....lawyer. i'm over it!

  18. has it got fuel? sounds stupid but mine did something similar even though it was reading almost 1/4 of a tank. if you've got an aftermarket fuel pump they quite often don't have the same pickup as std.
  19. i've got a 33gtr with the garrett -5 turbos.....can i run in targa?
