  1. how the hell did u manage to regap your iridium plugs???
  2. ROFL f**kEN BEST THREAD OF THE WEEK!! sticky this shit! LOL GTST u crack me up man. (funniest asshole of sau) lets put it this way, your engaged chances are if u dont buy this car now, u wont have another chance (logically speaking to other financial commitments ie house wedding etc) cuz when u move out she wont stop complaining about $$$$ when u decided to get it then. in-fact most ppl look back and say "ive should have invested rather than spending money on my car" but if u didnt take up the chance would u really be getting the car while your paying off your mortgage and raising 2 kids?? honestly it up to u to decide the cost of satisfaction. JUST make sure u get the PRIORITY right. IMO your in over your head for the r34gtr, and everyone here can see that your not getting your priority right. Theres a BIG diff in what u want and what u can afford. im sure GTST has slapped you enough to get the point through.
  3. it would burn a shit load of curious hands.
  4. i thought the ecu were the same, only thing diff is the transmission ecu for the auto is located at the driver kick panel?. this is just word of moth so im not 100% sure.
  5. right now just want to manual the dam thing. but after that i know i wont stop with mods or simply 8-10k on a dedicated thrasher.
  6. supercheap ones are rated the same as the BFI ones. 1A:20B:E thanks for the bracket idea guys, now i wont have to drill hole in my car LOL
  7. any 1kg extinguisher is not up to the task if ur car is on fire its only design to reduce the initial fire before assistance arrives. if ur driving till the point of overheating/fire (this is why u look at your gauges) or havent done the checks before a tack day is more important than anything else. as far as i know many guys dont even have heatshield's on their manifold/turbo/dump etc etc when those are the biggest fire hazard. its the same chemical compressed to the required pressure and 1 valve. all the same shit if u ask me. yes spend the extra $20 for peace of mind i can understand, but when it comes from supercheap, they wouldnt be allowed to sell it if IT didnt met standards. dont be too quick to based price on quality. where are the bfi ones made anyways?
  8. ahah i guess its anti-supercheap here. can i ask whats wrong with the supercheap auto one? its got metal bracket and nozzel, met cams requirement so i dont see what the deal is.
  9. been reading up alot of options and yes, all have their pro and cons, butt so far a bigger or secondary batt seems to be the best optoin. im keeping to my standard alt since i dont pump my system much. so as far as my knowledge in electrical circuits (just failed EC203....god dam it!, 2nd elec eng unit) seems like a bigger battery is the better option for my use.
  10. planet audio vx4002 the vx range is 3 years old so they dont have it on there site anymore. i've only cranked it heaps to relise my interior lights were dimming. think im going to return my battery that ive recent replaced and get a larger one. currently bridged running 800watts http://www.planetaudiousa.com/main/index.php cheers guys and thanks for that.
  11. yeah i had a search and big read on it. def a bigger battery. so far cap are worthless for car audio anyways. just one question guys, does the battery in the r33 "HAVE" to be sealed since it's in boot?
  12. capacitors is a bit pricey for what they are worth. currently got a 320 cca bosch in the car, and theres a few cheap capacitors of ebay. but should i just get a larger battery say 400-500 cca. does anyone know the pro and cons? just my sub and amp is abit much for the battery atm. thanks
  13. ahha ur just as confused as i am randy. LOL switch is only for full or half lift of the attenna. ok heres the f**ked updated. speaker is fine, havent swapped the rca for left to right so wouldnt know. im powering a sub not speakers. all my speakers run of the deck while the sub is off the amp. so far ive tested with out the amp and its fine. (in that in mean with an external 12v batt without any rca connections or amp) ill chuck in my old deck and see how that goes, just pisses me off how i dont know what the prob is.
  14. ok, its getting quite annoying now, because i cant seem to diagnose the problem. prob: right channel has static (not radio static like but LARGE burst to cracking noise) i only had 1 acessories line out, so i join them both to the enable amp and auto attenna. i then tried to seperate the amp/e and auto attena. (amp to acc so when the deck is on the amp is on) but it still does it! maybe the pre out are labled wrong? because im running the rca of rear L/R. have yet to try other RCA but i doubt that the prob. maybe line in is mixed up with one of them. just now i relise even when its not on radio the auto attenna line give off 12v when the deck is on. ( it should only do this when radio function is selected) its on of those shitting china dvd deck that i got for my parents, other than that im quite happy with it, play avi too. any1 might have an idea of what i should try, already open it up and check most of the components seems to be fine in working order. so far im just running 1 speaker of right front, with no other connection and it works fine. any1 might have an idea of what might be interfering with each other? thanks in advance
  15. think of its as a plus, large volume production= decrease in retail price.
  16. ill miss apexi. only they make ecu and ebc for idiots like us, easy to install and "tune" ourselfs. glad i got my avcr.
  17. lets jsut say very FIRM suspension and buckets dont make a good companion for a long trip. no to mention a ride height 15cm from ground to front bar.
  18. pisses me off how wa gets none of this shit! by shit i mean good shit!
  19. ^ good eyesight mate. im sure every1 here that can are given the chance of the 997 le mans or the z-tune, im sure the porky wins, disregarding the price.
  20. LOL, love this thread. what does SR stands for then. shit response? Seriously Rice? im pretty sure its just notations that engineers used when designing the engines. keep the ideas coming boys. giving me a great laugh about it.
  21. my mate who is an absolute subaru fan said he likes it after looking at it for 3hrs straight. offcourse i punched him in the face and made him "prettier"

  23. lol, interesting debate. ive been lucky enough to get to drive a decent tuned r32gtr once. not soo lucky to drive a 04 911 turbo but had a good fang in one, i didnt think my mates uncle would let me drive it anyways. but we are really comparing "oranges to apples" i just couldnt believe when i was in the porsche of how well it handled, car felt like it drove itself around the corners, it balanced itself even if u were over speeding into the corner and the "stability control" was.....boring yet safe to me. the point is nissan never made the gtr to compete with the porsche 911 fullstop! new gtr isnt even released so the full stats cant be compared. and how the hell is a 280 hp stock gtr get compared to a porky. this is a skyline forum offcourse ur gunna get hardcore support for the gtr. but any1 in their right mind would know that porsche is equiped with better technology than the r34gtr. chill out guys, any 80k car would f**ken rock. but for a more mature driver porsche>nissan imo
  24. put it this way what kind of women he goes for. porche =sophitcated mature woman (girl u easily can put up with everyday) r34gtr = easy, "cheaper" maintanance young girl tvr, maserati = shallow hot bithces new gtr = got it all. personally i like to put it this way, u break anything in a r34gtr just make a call and book her in (HEAPS of aftermarket parts for rb26) with the euro cars its the opposite. but then again its all depends on personal pref. with that budget any car would be awsome!
