  1. I can clean the outside no problem, but the inside is starting to get that yellow haze everyone bitches about. Apparently you can pry the headlights open by putting them in the oven & separating the parts when the glue melts, but there's no way I trust myself to do that. Might get them cleaned professionally later down the track.
  2. ugly, ugly side exhaust, leave that for race cars...
  3. Thanks for the article, always good to find a new project for the weekend
  4. Hi Dan, I take it the frontbar has either already been sold or you're holding it for the first guy in line... If not then my cousin is still interested in buying it from you
  5. LMAO, mate it wasn't vandalised, the boys in the NSW forum have this thing called TGIF(Thank God It's Friday) where they try & trick everyone by making threads where their cars get vandalised or they have a crash etc. Here, read this & you'll get the picture... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=115270
  6. Werd. Also, I believe the new GTR proto is using a brand new chassis & not a skyline, I don't think using the V35 would be a good platform for the GTR marquee anyway. Jimbos V35 was vandalised not too long ago, on a friday hehehehe....
  7. Apples & oranges really. Skylines have much more street credential & R33's look so much better than the old integras in my opinion, not that I wouldn't mind a dc5 for a daily driver
  8. not bad, what condition is the car? How many K's has the 34 motor done?
  9. Werd Yo, jus gotz a EVOIV front bar on mah ES, itz Jay Dee eMm tyte yo! MIVEC ya hearr?
  10. But the Civic & lancer crowd swears by 'em
  11. I like the fact that it gets rid of the nose, I think the car looks tougher with just that pug nose gone
  12. Anybody seen the chargespeed widebodykit for the new Sti? I was never a fan of the pug nose & it looks A million times better than stock, the widebody doesn't hurt either
  13. I found a s2 wing & put it on my s1, looks a lot better. If you want the wingless look go with the flat boot or stealth wing. If I had the time & money I'd probably get a custom stealth style wing with a stop light like on the gtr wings, can't find anything like it on the market though.
  14. Short answer newbie is, no (the search button is your friend)
  15. True what you guys have been saying about lower accident rates... I just came back from a trip to the Philippines visiting family. The driving over there is hectic compared to Australia, yet most drivers generally are couteous & attentive, more assertive than agressive drivers. The coolest part is that the cars over there are left hand drive, it felt so weird for me to shift gears with my right hand
  16. PM sent Dan Just wondering whether you've sold the front bar yet... Cheers
  17. Ah my automatic brothers! my next car will definitely have to be a manual, auto is so boring for me now!!! I just drive my corolla around when my manual itch needs scratching
  18. yep, as I said "in my wildest of dreams" I could never justify the time & money spent on such a project. Are you still considering a carbon fibre version? I read some mention of it in thread before this one.
  19. I'll definitely buy a pair for my 33 if you develop them, my kickplates are all scuffed & dirty. In my wildest of dreams I'd get some custom made metal kickplates with the "skyline" embossing lighting up when you open the door, like in some mercs. A man can dream
  20. Pretty sure that blue skyline is a series 1. The bonnet on a s2 has much sharper ridges, also the headlights on a s2 are slightly thinner & sharper than a s1. Can't say that I'm a fan of that bodykit on the blue skyline though. 400r skirts look much more tidy.
  21. Saw this on the news last night, you could barely recognise the car as a skyline from what was left of the car. It's a miracle how the little kid survived barely scratched
  22. Who cares what anyone else thinks, if you like it, buy it. It's your car. At the least it will look different to the hundreds of other 33's I see driving around on any given day my 2c
  23. Well, It sure ain't no Shelby or Viper, but my keeper car has been my corolla It's an '89 seca hatchback. It's 17 years old & still runs without any major hassles, it's like a duracell bunny just keeps going on & on. It's like a part of the family, it's just always been there. I also love the '67 mustang, it epitomises the old school muscle car. I also like the old school corvettes JohnnyCash: if you go with the gone in 60 seconds kitted mustang definitely go with a jet black paint scheme & maybe twin white racing stripes from the hood to the bonnet, there's just something about the colour black that makes muscle cars look a little more muscular
  24. couldn't have said it any better
