  2. agreed!! i cant wait to get there , there should be some really top drivers & cars mixing it up which will be great to see. and the drinking should be good
  3. is this still forsale?? please pm me russ
  4. i priced a set of r34 rims awhile back from nissan, and from memory it was about 14k for a set of four!!
  5. i hope there arent too many rules or i wont know what class i fit in not even sure what tyres the r35 has on it, as far as rating goes?!!
  6. come on paul , !! you know you want to
  7. hey noddy i saw that happen up there, nice place for that to happen!! i thought i had seeen your car before! looks good, good to see you have built up your self too
  8. the other issue we have had was the block cracking at the head stud holes in the top of the block outward to the water jacket, this is very common and can be from over tensioning the head bolts or using after market headstuds and when they are tightened down they can bottom out if not careful and crack the block! this is an issue as four of the headbolts have oil flowing around them up into the head and if cracked flows straight into the waterjacket. if not assembled correctly the block could get cracked from brandnew!
  9. i had oil getting into the radiator in one of our engines and it ended up being the cylinder head we had it pressure tested , refitted still did it , we then threw it in the bin and got another one! but strangely our water was going milky so not 100 percent sure. also was you new block brand new?
  10. yep donk out! whats wrong with it cracked??
  11. hey guys! russ here nice to meet ya mick! and noel your car sounded great btw!! ( but i bet you going back to the little housing but! ) cyas round russ
  12. holy shit roy that was a bit of ride! just snapped straight out on you, oil on the tyres = no much fun at that speed
  13. hehe nice stacks!! here's mine, no brakes and then pulling the handbrake on in shear panic!! nearly ran into the porsche 4wd in the background
  14. really good to see some interest in this event, i hope it's really good fun! marks run 1.40 flat at ec in two lap stint there, and should go about 1.5 to two sec's quicker there , as that was before engine and suspension changes. i have no idea what the r32 will run at OP as we have never even seen it before except on tv, pretty sure the r34 wont be ready for the first superlap as so much to do and havent got the chassis back yet! i just cant wait to get down there and mix it up with you guys and have some fun. the twenty minute session format really does help add to the fun and getting right in that time! and that 20 minutes dissappears so quickly if you have a drama!! hoping to get down there next month and get round the track! knocked a half a sec off our QR sprint time today to 52.9(on two lap stint), mind you on slicks for the first time , so mark never got use to them as there is proably another second and a half in them. which is just amazing. we are preparing for the gatton streets sprints up here this weekend. cheers russ
  15. All we did for the lexan windows was use a strap buttoned to the window from the inside and then velcro it to the roll cage to keep it tight, only downside to this is trying to put some tension(from the outside) on them when transporting the car. otherwise it works well.
  16. hey guys ! win or loose, it will be a top event! it should be great to be part of , and if you dont fit in street just enter in open class, you might suprise yourself! and you never know what can happen on the day, the m speed gtr blew the hollinger the day before tsukuba ( but they managed to fix it)
  17. hey dazza you coming to gatton next week end?? will be good to catch mate
  18. noddy i think there is a practice run next month, we have never been there either but i am told it is fantastic! i will let ya know when the practice day is as we will be treking down there, all going well cheers russ

  23. I might be able to give a couple as spare, if your allowed?
  24. they have a pressure switch to tell the pump when to start pumping pressure again, because there is always a certain amount of pressure kept in an accumulator. the switch maybe faulty have you tried just leaving the ignition on/engine off and see if the relay keeps clicking??
