well the stock bov noise on my rb25 was pissing me off, so i made up a metal gasket blocked it off, and now my car flutters, i only run 10psi and so far no damge, and it dosnt really slow the turbo down at high revs when making boost

so lyk i had my fooly sick HKSSSQBBQLOL and it went cha cha cha.. thuper gay

the ebay turbos? i heard they are bad

well, somone pointed out that they forgot to plug in some hoses, now my boost guage isnt reading vac, so i must of missed somthing, or somthings leaking, ill have to check it out.. Its not like it sounds horrible and the car is jerking around, sounds like a lumpy v8 and its kinda annoying

ok it seems it wasnt spiking, it was missfiring hence the jolting, and it just happpend to happend when the needle went to 11psi, i fixed the missfire problem now it runs fine, and holds boost perfectly!

do smaller and larger gaps have any performace differences? cause the plugs that were in there were 1.1 and since i upped the boost it started to missfire, plug on cyc 3 was completely borked

So i change the sparky plugs on my rb25det today cause she was missfiring all over the place at high-rpm, the plugs are gapped to 0.08, the car drives fine, no misfiring at all, and runs smooth as hell when not ideling, but at idel it sounds like a lump v8, and on the boost guage the VAC section jitters around. I checked back under too see if i forgot to plug a hose in and everything looked fine, could the plugs not all be gapped the same? u checked them all with a feeler gauge and they seemed fine! What else could it be? I have a slight hole in the end of my exhast but i dont think that has anything todo with it! Nate

because the car jolts when its spiking between 10 and 11psi ..... Its a steady 10psi all the way up, and jolts @ 6k but goes away at 6.200-7,500 this is on a rb25det aswell

anyone else have this problem? im having a 1psi spike @ 6,000rmp, im running 10psi(so 3 psi more than stock) and in the higher revvs i get a slight spike, could it be its not tighted enough? What the genral causes of boost spikes? thanks

i got mine afew weeks ago, bloody brilliant, im running it on my rb25det in my r31, running 10psi wih the "hi boost mode mod", but i get 1-psi spike at 6,000rpm+ mabey i didnt tighten the nut enough, but its freeking great, i love it!
