  1. gave a wave/got a wave from a grey R31 2dr yesterday arvo heading down Long Gully rd....
  2. depends what you've got done to the 32....
  3. you should buy 1 through Slide Performance. i bought mine from there and they were very professional about it. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/SA...erfor-f162.html price was very good. the shop i took my diff to said that they couldn't even get them at that price!
  4. yeah, i almost bought a nismo one, but the price of the Kaaz you just cant go past. as for the clunking, you get used to it. when i first put it in, the noise was so bad that i pulled it out and took it to a diff shop and asked if it was alright. they said that it was fine and that it would get better as time went on. now its pretty good. sure its a little noisey when its cold, but once its warm its actually pretty good. but your gonna get that mechanical slipping noise with any mechanical LSD you buy.... i'd be happy to take you for a ride one friday night soon, but not this friday, as im playing with the car...
  5. do it!
  6. Great idea john! does anyone really care that much about winning or loosing? i know i dont. getting on the track with like minded people is what im keen for...
  7. i recently bought a Kaaz 1.5 way LSD diff for my series 1 R33. i've done around 2000km's on it and after the initial run period and all the oil changes, i would recommend them to anyone who is looking for something like this. will be great around a track and i cant till i test it out. run a search in the Drive Train sections of SAU and you'll come up with other info and "reviews" etc... however, i've just noticed that you drive a series 2 R33? if this is true than i believe you cant change your diff center for a mechanical LSD as yours is an active diff from the factory, where the series 1's arent. i dont the know the differences between the 2, but im certain that all you can do is have the original rebuilt, or find some other kind of active replacement.... someone correct me if im wrong, but when researching my diff i came across this information....
  8. thanks for that. im very tempted. will do some calculating and get to back to you....
  9. i'll pass, but i'll come along and watch....
  10. that sounds sweet! got a rough idea on cost though?
  11. PM replied... Snooze, its all good. i dont want the slice 'n' dice, just the dump pipe...
  12. so what??? if your that embarassed about your car's power with all the work you've done to it, then sell it and buy a VW. i'd love to see a couple of big supras get on the dyno, and i wouldn't care if they smashed all of us with their power figures... i'd love to get my brothers JZA70 on the dyno after all the work and effort and money that he has just spent. you dont want to see that? if you recall at the last dyno day, only 50% of the cars that went on were skylines. i think that it is just stupid trying to keep it to just skylines, cause it'll never happen....
  13. that was because Emily organised it. you need to get in touch with the organisers...
  14. yes it is. my suspension is the same as his 33. when i asked Chris at Inline what should i do suspension wise, he said to go and look under Bob's 33, so i did. "nice.." i said. "thats what i'll do to your car.." said chris. "awesome.." said me...
  15. hahaha! gotta love the rivalry already! training wheels... love it!!! :laughing-smiley-014: perhaps we should all make a payment of $165 to a trustworthy person, and get them to make a booking with payment on a friday later in the year, say in August or something similar, that way, we have our day booked, people have a crap load of time to get time off work and we've already paid for it. just a thought.....
  16. if its far enough in advance, like july or something, that shouldn't be a problem would it???
  17. ah yes! that would be perfect....
