  8. I dont know what the deal is down here, but the majority of people I know on the Gold Coast just go for their licences in a driving instructor's car.. thus you kill two birds with one stone: You know the car is going to be reliable and fairly nice to use, and it's a manual.
  9. Yeah it's the child seat point... Hilarious eh. Guess I was lucky they were sh** speakers
  10. Yeah dunno if you can tighten it.. I dunno mate, I noticed mine rattled a bit wen I was half-way through, and hadnt replaced the interior cover yet.. but it went away after I put everything back together (it was just the window loose because the rubber part is on the inside panel)
  11. yeah what kind of rattle is it? I know this might be rude.. but its not the speaker hitting the window is it? Because if its the driver's door.. the space is smaller than the other side. If not, still try and figure the first question and it'll give you a better idea at what your looking at.
  12. Sry this isn't really useful, but I thought I might add a funny pic of the wonders of AS customs; found it when I was putting my new 6's into the back of my '32...
  13. I've only seen or heard about two ways to do this.. either just cut out the parcel tray enough to fit in the speakers (then use rubber surrounds or something if you like).. or I've also seen a guy build a kinda box for the shelf - the speakers were on like a 30 degree angle facing the cabin. It was quite interesting, looked pretty sweet, and worked (just be sure to cut the centre in order to see through your review mirror. otherwise just go buy a couple of 6/6.5s I prefer them over 6*9s anyway
  14. I know I havn't made much an an appearance round.. but can I say I'll try my best to bring my new baby there? Not sure what I'm doing round then, but I think I'll be round... and sounds fun!

  20. mate i dont think you understand.... I am very interested in your car.. but you keep on avoiding peoples questions and I'm becoming overly suspicious that any1 buying this car will be very disappointed. (refer to the already closed thread) answer all the questions there and I'll prolly come have a look.
  21. Hey man, I'd offer you a spot in my carpark.. but unless the bureaucrats get off there arses and give us some decent security, I don't even like parking mine there...
  22. Hi mate, can you pls answer the questions about RW certificate and if you've got the reciepts, and condition of the engine etc. Also, how many kms has it done... is that 143xxx I can read from your interior pic? EDIT: wat speakers are you running off that alpine HU?
  23. Yeah man he's proly right... HU's depreciation value is huge at the moment. I know I picked up a 2004 top of the line Sony model (rrp ~$999) for bout 400. sry dude
