  1. im on frostmourne also and need a guild 52 warrior, no one needs warriors dam 1.10 patch good for priests though right?
  2. i guess ur comparing $300 r33 to $600 neo r34 in my opinion just get the r33 one or a full on aftermarket turbo
  3. its ecu eprom chip thats soldered into ur existing ecu, dr drift is a dude people on here seem to use
  4. i have a mild rb20 and there is bugger all blowby to the catch can running ~12psi even when thrashing hard
  5. i used to have a RC10 electric offroader was good fun still have it but probably need some love to get working, but used to go to St Ives showground on mona vale rd a nice offroad track there
  6. 7. rear tyre tread ok - I got refused a dyno cause my rears were ready to blow
  7. looks like u have the stock bov plumback in also, on the crosspipe on top of engine. nothing wrong with the stock bov so get rid of the hks if u ask me
  8. either what was said above or buy a aftermarket induction pipe set, or what i did was buy 3" mild steel elbow from exhaust place, trial fit and hack saw. Then also cut the rubber pipe nearer the turbo and insert the steel pipe and clamp her in tight - no way itll collapse
  9. hey manwhore3 what are the falken st115 like? they are azenis right? they have 3 grooves and the rest looks like semi slick almost..... just got a pair of these from tempe tyres ($400) but havent tested em, cheers ps a mate just tried to order em in 15" from tempe and yeh no stock, he ended up getting some Pirrelli P6000 and seem pretty good
  10. if i went the whole 65lt tank my rb20 can do 780km highway driving, has chip and rb25 turbo
  11. they are not rebuildable, yeh either a rb25 2nd hand turbo for say $350 or a highflow/rebuild for under $2000
  12. stock boost is 10psi already so uve only added 4psi but still not worth it on that turbo cause it wont be much better and could cook the ceramic turbine i always found with the stock turbo it would hit you in the back at about 2500rpm and pull almost the same to the redline - fun for punching at low rpm but no hang on at high rpm should be sweet to run 14psi with a rb25det turbo on the 2ltr and u get some pickup from 3500 onwards
  13. get a stock bov and replace it veeports suck
  14. probably a stupid one but i had no injector signal when i forgot to screw the main ecu plug in properly by turning the nut all the way
  15. yeh the ones to the dump seem to snap a bit (didnt for me) but i found those 6 pretty easy cause i had the whole turbo/dump out of the car to take them off, i replaced all those studs/nuts when the new turbo went on might be a good idea (from gcg) the 4 nuts to the ex manifold come off pretty easy with 17mm ring spanner they wont be a prob
  16. unscrew the oil drain clamps from underneath the turbo - that ones easy then use a socket set to get the other 3 eye bolts off (oil in, water in/out) not much oil will come out but coolant will spew out the water line at the top/back of the housing next to the exhaust manifold is the hardest to access, i unscrewed the 4 turbo to ex manifold bolts most of the thread so the turbo came forward a bit to give room to get a socket/ratchet back there then i actually undid the two bolts on the flange between the front pipe and cat and took the turbo/front pipe all off like a snake out the engine bay did this cause the 6 bolts onto the dump looked easier to get off with more room
  17. yup cheers rb30-power good idea, and its the coil cause it then missed on 2, gonna get a second hand one i think though splitfires would be nice
  18. ok cheers for input peoples, while it was missing like crazy on idle i unplugged each coil one at a time and no.3 made bugger all difference so hereth the problem i guess so that means its either the no3 coil or the coil plug itself hey?? considering that it starts doing it only when hot after about 15mins of driving and i think once i went over a harsh bump and the miss kicked in
  19. i have also ordered a pair of these hankook 104s, i think jax is the best place around me anyway to get them i was after 215/45/17 jax quoted $180 per tyre (Jax Mosman Syd) whereas bob jane etc said this spec didnt exist in the 104s and the closest spec (40s) were $240 apparently queensland jax stocks them and this is the way jax nsw have access to them but other outlets dont seem to and charge an arm and a leg
  20. well during this hot weather an intermittent missfire has shown its head. Its not just an on boost thing, when its missing its idle and on throttle and all except it sounds normal only on deceleration. power is down offcourse when its on sounds like a wrx well and truly thing is car will be fine after start then driving well with full power, then get stuck in traffic for 5-10 mins and its gone into complete missing mode - so basically it is on off and seems to be when very hot now i know most common to look for this kinda thing is spark plugs and coils, i replaced spark plugs a few days ago (bcpr6es) i think 1mm gap but b4 it was doing it with the stock plugs which seemed like a bigger gap like 1.1 or 1.2 any ideas guys?? can the coils or any other item fail when really hot??
