Everything still works as normal. It cranks but will not start, all lights etc work as usual Does't start in neutral either.

My Stagea wont start I put new speakers in the rear doors today. Started it up and drove it into the garage. Went to drive it an hour later, turns over but no start. Can hear fuel pump and all fuses light up with test light. Will go check the spark now. Any other ideas??

mine does it when the BOV vents to atmosphere. Do u have an aftermarket BOV?

Spotted, Series one white with no wing and rims around heidelberg and lower plenty a couple of times over the last week. And a maroon s1 came through Heidelberg KFC today had what looked like days skirts? and a set of rims.

Awesome day apart from the burnt arms. Alex and FLYSLY u would be glad to have no sunroofs cos i got shockingly burnt neck and left arm. Was great to put some faces to forum names. All in all a good day.

Was a great event even though we arrived late. Well done to all who helped the organising. Some very nice cars there, looks like i missed a couple from the pics.

Went for a trip to Albury on the weekend, about 100kms out of melbourne popped a tire. Was a slow trip the rest of the way Aguy in a wrx pulled up behind us at the servo and was like "are they standard wheels?"

Pulled the carpet up 2day and had a look at the ECU and the unichip was plugged in but a couple of wires were not connected. Must have been off with the fairies when i thought i hooked it up. Connected the remaining wires and it wouldn't start, turn over but not fire. Unplug the unichip with the wires still connected and it would start. Does anyone by any chance have a unichip stagea wiring diagram/wire colour list??? Slim chance but will try. Will get my tax back soon and take it for a dyno run and get the unichip wired in properly. Still missing but its not a spark/ ignite problem. and its not as bad now, just bearable with the splitfires

Tried different plugs with different gaps. not sure what it is. Im thinking computer or something to do with the timing.... Then again im not a mechanic...lol

The air box????? I have tried many different types of plugs at different gaps. No good as yet. Any ideas...Maybe the unichip isn't wired in correctly???

i've tried re gapping the plugs numerous times. It only happens foot to the floor when the auto changes gear, when its not full temp the car will 'jump' forward. When its hot it farts.

0.6 with the unichip. Could be leaning out i'm not too sure I also have bigger fuel pump and adjustable cam gears if that would make any difference.

Hey all, im trying to find a solution to my misfire problem. My car is an auto series one Stagea with exhaust, bov, DC transmission cooler, bigger side mount cooler and a uni chip with plug in boost controller. Yesterday i changed all filters, oil, plugs and installed a set of splitfire coils. It seems to have improoved slightly since the service. It only misses at full temp when changing up gears. pinch.gif When i had the car in Tassie there was no 98 ron and it missed terribly under any load using 95 ron. I uninstalled the uni chip and it stopped the missfire almost completely. When i moved to melbourne i re installed the uni chip and it ran as good on 98 ron as it did without the unichip on 95. This now is the best it has run with new plugs and coils but im wondering if i can get it better by ditching the unichip and go the full glove box piggyback option, or does it just need to be taken to a uni chip shop to get looked at or adjusted??
