We had a ticking noise in our kingswood that was there for ages.. we thought i was the exhaust gasket too... Ended up being a cracked piston!! I'm off to gavin tomorrow.. I've got a few ticking noises in my car. One i know is the clutch and the other has only just developed.. So I will investigate with gavin tomorrow.

There must be one somewhere for the rego to have gone through but we never got a copy. Maybe its soo dodgy they dont give it out. Our rego took 1 month to go through when they are allowed a maximum of 14 days to transfer it over.. stuffed me around a bit because I was waiting to change the number plates over and I couldn't do it until they changed the rego over.

I reckon 1:30 is alright.. enough time to sit and talk.. and then cook.. Earlier and I think it might drag the day on a bit. Also gives us time to sleep in

We set our limit high with our car when I raced it. We thought mid 15's because we seem to get beaten by anything. There was a stock VL out there last time doing 16's and you keep up with hilly dont ya? Might be some hope But funds are a problem.

Friday evenings are bad. Bye the time we both finish work and get home PLUS drive to the Sunshine Coast... We wouldn't make it unless you made it for 9:00 at night

I've asked the boss and hes said yes but thats now. So it might change by next weekend. We will probably cruise down with Luke (la la) and Fenn so all three of us can get lost But yes. Right now I am a definet but.. as i said. Tomorrow that could change.

If its the same wire that aws broken in our car (the wire that goes from the speedo to computer) it breaks a whole lot of other Sh*t like the HICAS and the Speed sensor. It does this because the speed sensor works out what speed you are going to make the hicas work. Our car was also cutting out at sets of lights because of the speed sensor. So if it is the same wire. I wouldn't suggest cutting it

Oh OH ME ME ME I think I say this everytime but here goes again... AUTO TECH! Gavin Wood is the name of the guy who knows everything about skylines! We go there everytime there is something wrong with our car. I'm off to there today. Top bloke.. Top company. The dealings with them that we've had have been excellent. Nothing what so ever to complain about. Prices are excellent and their work and customer service is brilliant. They don't **** you around.. [/plug]

I'll have a gear box like no one else soon enough I'll have a 6 speed.

AND its my birthday dinner at the norman for anyone who wants to attend.

*WE* got it all sorted out.. $1000 later some problems are still there. HICAS light comes on (the steering sensor needs to be changed which will cost about $370) They didn't help us one bit. Still haven't heard back from them. Still don't have our safety certificate!

I'm taking the car to get it looked at on friday. Theres a really bad petrol smell when we stop at a set of lights or its sitting somewhere idleing. AND we need another service. AND the clutch/gearbox is making a funny squeeking noise. Its probably going to start slipping soon

Well... Im not going to say anything because last time I did I got in trouble.. from someone on the forums Truth hurts eh? But I would never tell anyone to go there for customer service/a car or anything.

By a proper run I mean perfect starts by both of us... no crunching of gears... make it fair.

Isn't the Big Kart Track on the way up to Sunny Coast?? Or is that something else i'm thinking of. During the week is no good at all. Work == no fun == long drive home == crashed car == me dead weekends are way better.
