I've got a HKS super dragger... It's not very loud at all. Apparently I've got two resignators in the system so it's pretty damned quiet compared to other skylines! But I have noticed that right in the centre of the car both length and width ways there is on of the resignators hanging down and boy does it get a flogging. I'm suprised its still there.

I think it counts most of us out doesn't it??

I'm hell keen. I'll do what ever. I'm just not sure on what happens with all the legality stuff and starting a car club. I will do what ever when ever.. (If I'm let off my chain!!)

We saw a R33 in roma street parklands on Thursday night and it had the chamelion paint job. Not sure if it was the same car (didn't take notice of the number plate) but it didn't look like all the other chamelion paint jobs. Kinda different in a way..

Yeah it says remove turbo whistle. No one can believe taht I didn't get a fine. Or maybe he forgot to give it to me. Or maybe my dumb blonde impersenation(sp?) worked I dont know but it's a good excuse for us to sell the Blitz, get rid of the standard one and put a decent plumb back on. Well i actually think keeping the address a secret might be an idea.. Maybe we should all meet somewhere first and then all cruise down. So THEN we know who is going and there wont be any weirdos. Have one person that knows the address and they can be the leader!!

They only looked under the bonnet.. As I said I left the car running and turned the turbo timer off and hid it incase they asked me to turn it off and on again. I thought of that much... OH well.. it didnt' cost anything and I've just got to report to them now with my "turbo whistle" and see what happens.. Straight back onto my car it goes :burnout:

thats just the FILTER.. not the whole pod.. We've already got the pod. Its just the actualy green filter is crumbling

Whats the easiest way to remove the blitz one?? Take it off and put a plate over the hole? Get a new piece of pipe...? Can any of this be thrown back on the car yard for selling a defected vehicle?? Why wouldn't a safety cert of a road worthy pick it up if its a defect???

Well... Tonight was interesting... We were at Maccas at Springwood sitting, chatting. Next thing 3 cop cars pull in and a Department of Transport (DOT) car. Hrm me thinks.. So the boys walk away from me .. tell me to get into the car... I'm thinking "There not going to stop a chick.. surely!" HAHA *BUZZ* wrong answer. Looked over the engine. Asked if we had recently bought the car, I say, yeah three months ago. They asked if we had done anything to it since we got it. I say No. Then he asks me to pop the bonnet. I do this while being nice to him. While they were looking under the bonnet I quickly switched the scanner off and hid the turbo timer (I will explain why later). I got a defect notice for the ... I still can't stop laughing "Turbo Whistle"... NOW .. what the ****... is a "Turbo Whistle".. i know what a BOV is... but a Turbo Whistle. (comments were made later that i should have said the Blitz wasn't connected cause we still have the standard one on too) Thats the only thing i got defected for. Question... What is the easiest and quickest way to remove the BOV for the day and then put it back on?? Maybe this might be the chance we need to actually fix the two BOV situation.. Also.. are turbo timers illegal?? I have heard that they are? Can anyone clarify this??

We had a HKS one on Sinbad when we got it. When we went exploring in the engine and found out that the filter was crumbling we decided to take it off. The HKS one was ****en loud... about 5 times louder than the K&N one we got to replace it. I love the intake noise.. Now that I know its only around $50 to get the HKS pod filter I might change it back. But we will see what happens...
