Just wondering about my mags. When we wash them and just spray on that McGuires(sp?) wheel polish stuff.. They come up really shiny but in spots have little .. blemishes I suppose you could call them. Where can you get your mags cleaned... IF you can clean them with something to make them look like new. Haven't tried polishing them yet with a rub on polish ... I will do it one day. But yeah.. Are there any places that "rejuvenate" mags to make them look like new?? Here is a pic of them. You can see the marks in the picture...

Or the wire could just be disconnected like in our case.. Is the car also cutting out at sets of lights for no reason?? This could also be the speed sensor (or the wire being disconnected).. is your speed limiter working also? Ours didnt when this wire wasn't connected. The wire that was broken in our car was the wire going from the speedo to ecu. We then found out that our speedo has been fiddles with (as most are) and they have obviously forgotten to attach the wire again.. or something. So if you can be bothered putlling the dash apart to look to see if the wire is connected... I'd say do that. We just went to the mechanic and he did it so we didn't break anything

Depending on how old she is. If shes young. Put it in a trust fund for her when shes old enough to buy a car.

Just a quick question. Got a few hassles with my car *again* Something is wrong. Took it to Fulcrum today to get a wheel alignment and they had a little device on the brake for over an hour. Now. When they guy went to start it the alarm just started making noises and chucked a fit (I turned it off by the little key) and once i had turned the alarm off.. when you turn the key, all the lights come on but theres nothing when you turn the key. Absolutely nothing.. We clutched it and it started and we went for a drive. When we got back and turned it off it still wouldn't start. So gathering this today we bought a new battery. We *think* the battery is dead. Now my question is: Is there any special trick with taking our rear strut brace off to get to the battery? I just don't want to break anything else. We have a GTR rear end in it so I'm guessing the strut bar is the same as one in a GTR?? A pic is attached. I know theres bolts and stuff on it to take off.. I just dont want anything else to break. This is enough. I'm soo sick of having things wrong with the car!

I'm insured with Suncorp Metway and haven't been stuffed around yet. Although they only allow two mods to be done to the car. Soo... we will have to look for a new insurer soonish.

I've got the R33 standard head unit here if you want it. You can have it.. Free of charge. Just postage to where you are. You might not but just thought I would ask. Its the tape/CD one. I dont know what skylines came out with standard.

HKS Pod Filter..

Is anyone interested in buying the Blitz BOV that was attached to our car.. Its got the standard R33 cooler pipe still attached. Wanting around the $200 mark for it... Also I've got a hole HKS pod filter for sale. Came off our car. The foam in this is starting to crumble so we took it off. New foam is about $50 to buy from just jap iirc. Looking at around the $200 for this too.. Will negotiate but. Pictures below. This one is the BOV

Boxcar Racer and we please make a decision so that we can organise ourselves.. We are meeting up here and cruising down there with a few cars.. and everyone needs to know the plans so they know what to do.. If not.. gimme your address and we will just go to your house because some of us have a few things to do saturday morning and don't know what time we'll be ready. This is unavoidable because luke needs to get the stuff done so he can drive his car (if its ready) So 1:30 is better for all of us.

Yeah.. we just put the old pipe back on. It ran like sh*t for about 30 minutes after that but we took it for a squirt around the local streets.. I am taking the car down to the mechanics tomorrow to get it taken off properly. And to get numerous other things fixed. So if its not running right.. its then not my fault

I've done over 180 but I don't know how much over. That was when the car wasn't working properly and the speed cut wasn't working.. But now is about 190... my speedo seems to go to about hte 190 position before chucking a spit. My best quarter is 14.4 and i am yet to do it again. That was my first ever go at racing.. So I'll try again soon.

You've also got to think of the people coming down here from up the coast.. Thats a damn long day for them!
