A while ago when ra... driving fa.... driving our gear box crunched forth gear... Well it's been a few months now and its progressively gotten worse (excuse the great english there) Just driving around gentley it is starting to crunch everytime we shift from third to fouth. Am I right in guessing the synchros are foorked.? My question is... whats the best and cheapest way to get this fixed?? (Even though it sounds tough when your.... driving.. next to someone... at the same speed :uhh: ) Our clutch is also slipping a lot. The car decides it would rather spin the clutch really fast than spin the tyres. We've heard that you can "upgrade" the current clutch to some heavy duty one (not sure on brands or what) and its meant to be really good for around $600! Is this true? What amounts of debt are we looking at here for getting the gearbox and clutch problem fixed? Also "heard" along the grape vine that having gearbox problems can decrease the cars power.. is this true? Thanks in advance.

.. we tried to get the number plate 80GAN But "coincidently" at the same time i was ordering it.. someone else was. I even gave them my credit card number and all.. SHe rang back the next day and said that I couldn't get them. SO they gave me some numberplate protectors.. which dont fit.. the numberplates dont fit... so I dont know how they are meant to! I'll swap ya.. 51NNR for 40RCN

Nismo_Boy.. .were you there? I didn't see the R13. Not that I knew what I was looking for. I also didn't see cam till he ran his first run at night. I think we missed a lot of things ... But we seemed to be in the stands most of the day. Can you post some pics Nismo_Boy?

I'll offer my car but it's white...its only just recently (September 13th) been a wedding car. I'll attach some pictures.. There's nothing special about it.. Just nice and clean and straight.

Well.. If we are going to do a photo shoot.. what if we organise to meet at the lower slips where we can get the city as a backdrop for the photos??

We actually find the stock speakers in the front to be fine. We recently bought a nice JVC MP3 player and put our two 10" pioneer subs and amp in the back. The stereo sounds really good for the little effort we have put in. I'm not really into audio stuff for the car before performance but the subs we already had from Brutis. So we chucked them in and we are quite impressed by the sound they give Depending on what standard of stereo you like I suppose.

I like to call mine "Tough Pops " We used to have tough revs in the kingswood where it sounded really tough.. rumbling along. Can't really do that in the skyline because its soo quiet. So we just get tough pops

If this person knew what type of car "could" have been... then.. correct me if I'm wrong but I think a WRX looks way different to a skyline. How could you get them confused??

I think its both. Its polished alloy around the outside then coated in the middle as the middle and outside are two different colours.
