What an AWESOME weekend, seems to get better every time My times were down from last time, but i was having toooooo much fun. Glad the old guy didn't pass out in my car, during a run, he loved every moment of it . I was happy to let others drive my car (correction: try to drive my car ), shows me that the "light switch" power catches everyone off gaurd. Troy did an outstanding drift round the entire pan, felt awesome as i was in the passenger seat . As usual a big thanks to the organisers, officals, volunteers and RACINGLINE for sponsoring the event. Nige's Supra looked and performed outrageously well all day, he should probably consider entering the DUTTON, just to see how it goes. The "after party" was as expected, messy and memorable , GREAT freakin night! People don't be affraid to post up photo's and footage

I may have to pull my car out of DECA, but not till i confirm problem. Went for a drive on the weekend and was hearing a deep winding noise from the engine bay, at idle. Tracked it down to behind the cam covers. Will be taking the car to my mechanic tommorrow to have a listen, if he KNOWS all is ok, then no problem, but if he suspects a fault then i will pull out . I was so pumped up for this event Either way i will still come up! Anyone got a spare 33 i can borrow?

Some more detail will help Does it stall at the lights, or while actually moving? Is it an instant stall, or does it "jerk"/"stuter" b4 stalling? How do you restart it, do you need to do something? as many details as possible.

Bass Junky lost power when he installed Tomei Type B cams with his std turbo. But when he upgraded to a hi-flow turbo he gained alot more, as the turbo was able to provide more air. As Paul has stated above, you'd be MAD (and pointless) to install cams on a stock engine setup. Invest the money in a ecu, i found that to be my biggest bang for buck, before the turbo upgrade.

Just a helpful bump.. I have these same rims fitted to my R33 Gts-t, the offset sould be right for a R34 GT-t.

In Victoria, the w/shop has every right to sell the car when the owner has failed to pay the costs of the repair, after 3 months. To do this they need to publish a "warning of sale" in a major newspaper. If the car sales for more than the owed money they have to deposit that into a new account and the "owner" has a right to claim it. But the w/shop has every right to sell the car for $3000 if they like. From what you have written, the w/shop has completed all their requirements and are in the right. Even if the car was left in the w/shop they have a right to charge a "storage" fee.

Engine conversion is NOT worth it. You will also need to change brakes, etc, etc.... the list goes on. Never knew these existed!!

Just purchased a set of std R33 GTR brakes and would like to upgrade the rotors before fitting them on my Gts-t. I am looking for Std sized (324mm), 2 piece, slotted rotors. Thanks Alan

That would be great Jackie. Can you get a quote to transport a truck load of cars (maybe 2 trucks) from Melbourne to Wakefield, NSW and one from Melbourne to Sydney? How many cars in a truck? Are the cars enclosed?

As long as the others know what they are doing i am willing to lend a hand. Just make sure you hide the beer till the job is done, otherwise it could get a little messy

The black stuff on your garage wall may not be oil from the turbo. If the car is running rich it is highly likely that the excess fuel, mixed with moisture and carbon from the exhaust is just spewing out. My car is running really rich on cold start and i have the same thing. A tune will help fix the problem. If the car is not in the condition as discribed on purchase can't you chase it up with the importer? All the best.

The only way to compare dyno graphs is to have a "dyno day" where a group of cars get together on the same day, at the same dyno, operated by the same people. It is only then can you compare against someone with similar mods. Or you can see how a combination of mods work and don't work. At the last Vic dyno day i had the highest power figure but saw how shit my tune was compared to others, thus i was missing some bottom end response.
