    Hi Alll

Not too sure what you are trying to say here, but fact remains the Pfc has not left you any provisions should you want to wire in a air temp sensor, even though it is capable of using it. Coming from someone who has never seen, used, or knows anything about the wolf program, that is a totally wierd statement. The load band is probably not greater than the pfc, just has greater resolution. And yes i have seen my mechanic tune my car, although he tried to demonstate/explain what he was doing, it was way over my head. What's the point of spending all the money to improve the technology and resolution if it doesn't get used. I am sure they would have prefered to save the $$'s if the ecu never used the feature. Paul i know you love the Pfc, because that's the only ecu you know how to work with, but please stop making up false facts without having the proof to back up your statements. I am partial to the Wolf, but i have not called the Pfc (or any other ecu) shit because i know it is a proven product, i have simply pointed out it's known down falls, and where the Wolf excels above the Pfc, just like others have shown where the Pfc excels over the Wolf. At then end of the day both have the pros and cons, it is up to the individual to decide which they can live with. Apart from the repeatedly good/safe tunes from Ben, at Racepace, i am yet to see any other w/shops produce the same level of results, in Victoria.

    Hi Alll

Yes it uses the factory o2 sensor/s, just like the std ecu. But if your o2 sensor is stuffed it can also be programmed to ignore it.
  3. Just make sure you provide your trade qualifications and prove you are covered by insurance, in case you fark up and fry the electrics. Hell if you are charging w/shop rates i would want it done professionally at a w/shop.
  4. Did you disconnect the battery before you started to wire in the safc? Did you have all bare wires insulated before you connected the battery? Are you experienced with electronics, wiring, etc? Sounds like your afm is either disconnected or blown. Or worse you may have blown in afm circuitry in the ecu.
  5. Are you serious?
  6. so why are you selling them?........................... By the way, which turbos are you selling? The Garrett Gt2860r or GT2560r, they are two different turbos
  7. Congrats Dave!!!!!!!!! We know who wears the pants in this relationship

    Hi Alll

Wolf is also a direct plug-in. If you remove the afm ( ) all you do is plug it back in and block the extra vaccum/boost line going to the ecu.Alot more tunners know how to tune the Pfc and it is easier to find another w/shop should you decide to change. Start-up is a little quicker (sometimes) than the wolf. Wolf has PIN security start-up, that can be enabled and disabled at will, air temp compensation, 4 extra AUX outputs, boost controll via you standard solenoide, and other things that the Pfc unfortunately lacks.

    Dave, ya hoon!!!
  11. Now let's list all the names we call people when we see a black painted std bonnet. PS: Keep it white!!

Where did that come from???? I can't see anywhere in my posts where i may have hinted at looking for a w/shop EAS Performance is still my #1 prefered w/shop

    Hi Alll

I have heard different stories about their tunes........

How long did yours take to arrive from the time you made the order?
  16. A un-named guy who is a gun when tunning commo's, but obviously doesn't know shit about forced induction. I was not aware of the dyno runs till it was too late, and the owner should have known better himself .Poor, previously health, original N1 block

Happy b'day buddy!! Hope to catch up for drinks soon!!!

I agree with Autotrust, ATP is pretty damn good, even Ben at Racepace uses him. But if you want Japanese turbos (HKS, Trust, etc) i would go to RMS Motorparts, in Ringwood (98726669). I just ordered my GT-RS Kit through him. He is just like Nengun, but you deal with a person face to face and his delivered prices are final (ie: no extra 15% if customs stop the package).
  19. Do like, made me laugh.
  20. With a silly response like that, i give -up on this thread and have now un-subscribed to it. Good luck
  21. If this tunner told you the AFR should be 14:1, piss him off and go elsewhere. My mate blew his GTR motor because the dyno person had no idea about turbo engines and thought 14:1 was normal. With a whole bunch of mods my car has a AFR that hovers around 11.2:1 and makes 274rwkw. Even though it kill a little power, it is better to be safe. The AFR you have is definately not the reason for the low power figure, get a second run on another dyno.
  22. Don't only look at flow rate, even though the Bosch is actually better. Rail pressure is also VERY important, and i have seen the Walbro fail to deliver with high powered set-ups. Go with Bosch!! They are noisy but you'll get use to it

    Hi Alll

That is exactly why i use him and listen to his advise. He is a "no bullshit" guy and if he can't do something, like tune a Pfc, he will direct you to the best in the industry. Having said that, there is no-one else i would go to for my spanner work, as he takes the time to do things properly. No reason why you can't use Vic for the spanner work and if you decide on the Pfc, to use another w/shop for tunning. I have a few mate's that do just that, and they too are very happy with Vic's workmanship.

    Hi Alll

If they are valid reasons post them up here, as i too would like to know why Wolf is not good. I know that, even though the Pfc is a great ecu and highly regarded, it only has 6 load point (wolf=16) and does not have an air temp sensor. So on hot days you have to change your driving style where-as the wolf will automatically retard the ignition. Don't mis-understand me, i am a big fan of the Pfc, as it has been proven to be a stable product, but i rate the Wolf at least as high as the Pfc. The wolf is a bitch to tune, but that is not you problem, but that is why alot of tunners don't like them, as they have no idea of all it's features and how to use them.
  25. I actually saw a smaller version of that scoop fitted and painted on a R33 in Eltham, VIC. Felt like slapping the moron on the back of he head.
