You could get a second job at Mt. Bulla with that front bar
  3. If anyone has ANY pics of my car at DECA it would be GREATLY appreciated if you could urgently email them to: alancalleja_au@yahoo.com.au Full size, hi-res pics prefered THANKS Alan PS: Just in case you are not sure what my car looks like, refer to this link: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=79251
  4. 1/ I suggest you look around and get an idea of what a std 33 turbo usaully go for, b4 asking "what's the best $" as a first question. So to answer your question; For you $500 2/ The turbo is already basically sold, once i get a chance to get a price for shipping, which hopefully will be tomorrow.
  5. So i take it you never used the PIN security or the "Data Peak Hold Recall" features

    Skyline Joke

    Not bad
  7. I was told this morning, didn't have time to pic one up Shiv you got a copy?
  8. If ya going to paint it, why cf? Just buy a fibre glass one, it will be cheaper :uh-huh: I bet you that bonnet pic you posted is fibre glass with just a top sheet of cf, just for "looks".
  9. Ya gotta love the note of a V8 ...................... Almost as much as a RB26DETT at full noise
  10. On the 300zx, I reckon they look good. I appreciate that ppl have different tastes, so as long as you like them on your 33 that is all that matters. You should come down to one of our "non-official" (SAU Vic member and non-member) cruises/events so that I could see them 1st hand.
  11. That's what we did on the dyno, while trying to figure out why it was not making more boost.
  12. I will ALWAYS reverse park in all places. It is alot safer to do so!
  13. Each to their own...For myself i much prefer red brake lights on a burgundy/red car, sort-of blends in, if you know what i mean.
  14. In all honesty i do not know . I was running about 12psi on the std turbo, then we bolted up the hi-flow turbo and would not go past 10psi, but made about 180rwkw (same as std turbo @12psi) As stated b4, we went through ALL other possibilities b4 we decided to try the plugs. This may not be the case for yourself, just stating what i experienced, hence why i said; "If all tests fail, try replacing your spark plugs."
  15. Some really great pics Awesome cars :drooling:
  16. If all tests fail try replacing your spark plugs. I had iridium plugs in mine, threw on a hi-flow turbo and the thing wouldn't boost over 10psi. After 2-3hrs of fault finding on the dyno, my mechanic decided to change the plugs to a V-grove type, (there was nothing visibly wrong with the iridium’s) the next run saw boost hit 22psi and making power. Dropped boost back down to 17psi and started tunning .
  17. Sorry guys, work has been a nightmare , i was at work all day yesterday and half day today . Anyway here are some pics of the turbo, as requested. I will be weighing up the turbo tomorrow and getting a price for delivering to other states during the week. Note: In all honesty i have NOT cleaned this turbo. Notice the lack of oil leaks, etc .
  18. When the ebay lights are lit up (as above) they look good. Notice that the big LEDs are being used It's only when they are not lit up, then you could see the LEDs, with the red disk in the middle and chrome surround, that the ebay lights look shit.
  19. The end of year is fast approaching and the SAU Vic committee has already looked at up coming events, from now to the end of year. As usual we are going to have a Xmas BBQ, but to liven things up, we decided it may be a good idea to have a friendly soccer match. For this to happen, we will need to contact the local council and ensure the field is reserved for us on the day. Just need to gauge wether we have enough interest b4 making any calls. Feel free to leave other suggestions/ideas for the day.
  20. Neither do i, but my winging mates, sitting in the back seat, can't shut up about it
  21. Ring Kyp@ATP(95694765) and see if he can fit a smaller exhaust housing to the turbo, probably the cheapest way to do it. Otherwise you would probably require cams, head porting, cam gears, tunning.
  22. Shan your lights look better because you are keeping the red lens covers, so in the day time you will not see the LEDs. Just my opinion: If you used the bigger LEDs and only set the LEDs in a ring (just like the e-bay items) it will look better. As i said just my opinion, no offence intended.
  23. 100% agreed....Intank 040 is best for general application, but if doing alot of track days i would consider surge tank. Ppl should also get in the habit of filling up when gauge reads a quater, to ensure fuel starvation will not happen an to keep the pump cool. You must have a different opinion of what is loud, as i heard your pump and it is on par with mine, and yes yours appeared to be a 044 just like mine
  24. Nah buddy, i was refering to fuel pump set-up. Car: R33 Pump: in boot (Ext); in tank; Under car (Ext); etc ?
