  1. Not really that weird Drew, by having no dash lights, it warns you (or someone that knows) that your tail lights are out. Unlike your head lights it is hard for the driver to tell if they have a problem with the tail lights.
  2. Happens about 4 times a year, next meet is in August.
  3. Even though we have already chatted Andi, i will post mine up for others. Ignore the red line, the BLUE line was my final tune.
  4. Not that serious buddy!! NEVER USE SO CALLED "PROFESSIONALS" THAT BUTCHER YOUR CAR AND CHARGE BIG $$$'s FOR SHIT WORK. You will need to remove the head unit and relocate the GROUND wire of the head unit. They have spliced into a wire that is a "fulse ground", as when you turn the lights on it becomes 12V, this wire should be used to dim your stereo (if it has that feature). Easist fix is to disconnect your stereo ground and secure it to bare metal (chasis point). There should be a blown fuse, do not know where it is on a Skyline, make sure you check all fuses is all 3 locations (Engine bay, under dash and boot (near battery).

  6. Next Saturday 12/05/07 come to DECA Shapparton, SAU Vic will be there all day Most people will be in Shep Friday and Saturday night so come down an join the piss up
  7. Joel, I have a GReddy plenum, with a Q45 t/b, so inlet should not be a problem. That's why i was questioning only the exhaust manifold. I am more than happy with a peak power of about 280-300ish, just wanted to know if an ext. manifold would give me more usable rpm and make better average power. If the differance in minimal, i would prefer to stay with the stock ext. manifold.
  8. After 2 years i would totally dump the fuel or top up with C16. I wouldn't use too much of the bottled "octane booster".
  9. But more rpm can mean a greater spread of power. ie: instead of having a power band 3500rpm wide, i am hoping for a band 4500rpm wide. It's all about having a greater average/usable power; not interested in peak power. So you think my manifold will restrict flow, thus capping usable rpm. The turbo is definately a GT30R-IW
  10. These bonnets look awesome, especially when painted the same colour as the car: stealth. Very practical for cooling, yet it isn't "in your face" and doesn't stick out like dog's balls. Don't think they'll fit GTS-t's I have just bought the next best bonnet, that fits my gtst (yet to pick it up)
  11. The scoop is absolutely shit!! don't mind the vents And better wheels are definately in order.
  12. So you think i need an exhaust manifold? I have previously PM'ed you my other mods and the exhaust manifold is really the only std part that may restrict air-flow. I hope to have a 8k rev limiter, but will set it to 7200 for 99% of the time. My std ext manifold has been match ported to the head and also ported where it meets the turbo. I do not want to cap my limiter to 6500rpm as i think this will effect my track speed.
  13. I was told that my exsisting HKS GTRS would choke the engine at about 5500rpm, thus power will plummit after that; wouldn't a hi-flow be more restrictive? Maybe adapting the VG30/NEO25 turbo ext housing will help the issue a little?
  14. WHO HAD THE MOST SMOKE COMING FROM THEIR TYRES!!! Martin can i grab a copy of the little clip of my car smokin 'em up ? email: alancalleja_au@yahoo.com.au Ps: Brisby is the one that locked up the fronts entering the garage in my car

FARK that!!! May as well buy a Falcodoor And people call 33's whales JVP: I have notice that you have avoided answering the "how heavy are Stagea's?" question...

That's harsh What is the weight differance between a 33 GTR and a 260RS ? Serious question, so i would prefer fact then guess-timations
  19. Agreed, but i would first change all fluids. It's easy to do for peace of mind.

I'd definately pick the 260RS. Looks awesome, has power, handling and performance, all in a stealth body. Just fold down the rear seats
  21. all clear: Not that it see's the road much
  22. Can you post up a pic of the ass end of your car. The hard task would be to get an even glow across the facia without seeing the LEDs. Not easy at all . Maybe if you were to put the LEDs around the outside edge, facing into the middle, not too sure
  23. The factory smic is restrictive, thus if you where to measure the boost b4 the smic it will be higher than the boost after the smic. Installing a better flowing cooler will have less restictions, therefor the boost b4 and after the cooler will almost be the same. The factory solenoid is similar to a bleed valve, as is calculated/manufactured to allow the turbo to boost up to 9psi. This is with the restictive smic, replace with a fmic will reduce restriction, therefor flow more air.
