  1. T04GTR/Manwhore: Never read more bullshit in my life I know 4 ppl in the club that have been running these pumps for years without ANY drama. Maybe you should question the installation and not the pump. The 040 pump does not have a remote pick-up/filter, but does have a filter at the base of the pump. I agree that there are issues with surge and running out of petrol b4 the tank is empty, but don't run the car to empty and it will be fine. I personally use the Bosche 044, mounted externally near my surge tank. Apart from being a little loud, i have had no problem over the last 2+yrs and i know many more cars using this same set-up.
  2. Hey PM Babia, he just upgraded his fuel pump, as he upgraded his turbo, so he may still have his old one. (was only done this month, and i beleive the old pump was still working properly) Came out of a '94 R33 gtst, he is located in Melbourne.
  3. No-one is hanging shit on Ash or his car. Ash you car was off the road WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY b4 i steped down from SAU VIC Vice Pres, and that has now been 12months. Redo your math, you may shock yourself that the car has been out of action for almost 2yrs.
  4. = 2yrs when rounded And it's still not back on the road
  5. What's a: Centra 20 ECU? Is it compatible with the s2 engine? Has the cold start been tuned properly? Have you tried refitting you std ecu in? This sentance makes no sense, please clarify: "There is no wate rin the oil or vice versa" Could also be a leaky injector, but i'll check my mods first, as it only started once you started to mod it.
  6. Nope............... Asking Wogs Birnie you fault was totally different to this one, may have been a dry-joint on the ecu board, causing the fault.
  7. Do you ever need to top up your radiator?
  8. Chill out man, not even Ash took it like that , did you read the second part of my post.Just found it funny that Ash stated Ben has been looking after the car for the last 3yrs, when it's been off the road for the last 2yrs. So take a deep breathe, have a cold drink, sit down and relax
  9. And how long has your car been on the road in those 3yrs? No dubt Ben is good at what he does, just found your comment a little funny.

    Bonnet Pins Legal?

My mate tried to fit these to his R33 about 12months ago, but due to the curve/slop of the bonnet, wasn't able to. The bonnet must be flat to fit these on
  11. Running low on fire wood?
  12. Congrates James!! If anyone had the skills to aquire such a job, it was always going to be you
  13. Did really understand this line. So the standard fuel rail does not fit on the lugs?
  14. If the rear is handling fine why mess with it? Maybe he does not want to unsettle the ass-end to make the front turn in. Have you tried to loosen the front sway bar (if adjustable), or set the coil-overs at the front to a softer setting, by one increment. Just remember Tein have probably based their "recommendation" on a stock car, as Japanese owners do not typically replace sway-bars and bushes. So if you have sway-bars, bushes, etc, this will require you to experiment with the settings of the coil-overs and adjustable bars. Ideally you should have a 10mm differance of the height (from centre of hub to arch) from front to rear. R33 Skylines have a higher arch at the front wheels to allow more clearance while turning. Having the same height clearance all round actually sets the front lower than the back. Ideally the measurements are: F:350mm R:340mm. But if you are happy with the fronts at 345mm, try lowering the rear to 335mm, this will require you to check you alignment again.
  15. The genious Work done by various members, hopefully mostly donated. I can probably do most the wiring. I have done heaps of car installs in the past, etc.
  16. Wasn't talking about you ebay suggestions, as i was typing the post at the same time But i'll take your donation of the AP 6pot calipers
  17. A 4 door rear half cut would be perfect! - Use boot for bbq tops. - Open side door to access fridge/freezer - Open other side for storage, music, etc. - Modify door hinges to open wider for easier access.
  18. So we're going to make silly suggestions, treat this thread as a joke and nothing gets done OR are we actually going to have some valuable input? Not too sure what i can donate as such, need to check the shed, but my time is always available . A rear half cut from a damaged skyline would be utter cool. *cough* Dave *cough* . Even if it is slightly damaged someone will be able to straighten it up, to make it look presentable; the pannel beating doesn't need to be anywhere near "show" standard, but this would look awesome on our stand at various major events!
  19. If you have an antilag system you can not run a cat. Flames out the exhaust means; your "cat" is only a shell, as all the insides has crumbled and been blown out the exhaust. You replace the current "cat" with an original one or cheap hiflow, then you'll loose plenty of power. You replace with a GOOD quality hi-flow, you'll loose very little power, but you can't run the antilag as this will distroy the cat (and possibly your turbo) in no time. Here are my results: - Blue line: New Exhaust sytem; Apexi cat-back (with one straight through muffler and one canon muffler), and a super hi-flowed cat. - Red line: Previous Exhaust system: 5yr old cheap hi-flow cat, with 2 straight through mufflers and one resonator. I believe more than 95% of the gain was due to the cat.
  20. Yes standard 34GTR Brembos are a straight fit for a 34GTt. But if these where fitted to a 32 what was modified to make them fit; the 34 GTR caliper or the 32 hub? If the caliper was modified then they will not fit on a 34GTt
  21. As above Thanks to all that put many hours of time into making the club what it is today.
  22. Damn, looks pretty bad buddy. Hopefully all that gunk hasn't clogged up your turbo .
  23. Thanks to all for a great day; not to mention a GREAT WEEKEND! BIG THANKS to Adz (and his parents) fo allowing my to crash at his house for 3 nights, very much appreciated buddy! Jarrod your pool was tops, could not imagine a better way to relax after a day in the blistering sun. I got off the wine half way through the day, as the heat was really getting to me . This ended up to be a good move as we where able to drive around to Jarrod's then to Pete's. Thanks also Bec for letting Adz and i crash at your house till 7am, as Adz and i both felt bad having to wake his parents up 2 nights in a row; because someone *cough* Adz *cough* forgot their house keys again . HOPEFULLY NEXT YEAR WILL BE A LITTLE COOLER!
  24. When did i ever imply you where at fault? All i suggested was that you may have mis-understood what was done to your car and that you always have bad luck with people from various reputable businesses stuffing up on your car.
