you can now pick up a Audi A4 b6 turbo quattro for mid 20 - 30's (avant if you are looking for wagon) the pre 02 caldina looks poo and i doubt 03 onward will be any cheap it really makes me wonder why imports? when i had my S13 or r33 5,6 years ago there were nothing in the market provide similar options, performance and style for under $60,000 imports were the obvious choice, as a shitty E36 318i costs more than a R33 gts-t now they are no longer the most money for value I still own one only because I am passionate about skyline if I have to make a sensible change I would have a decent look around before I consider an import again
