  3. redline gearbox oil are the best. they can even bring the tired gearbox back
  4. ideal is not a good answer, i don't want to launch my car in mild rev and "hope" i launch good to beat a rex at the light. okay, i lunch alright (idea), and as long as they don't launch bad, they will still kill us due to 4wd advantage, and i have to race up to 100 or so at the STREET to hunt them down. race them in rolling start and it makes the world a lot easily, race them in the light and give yrself a hard time, as easy as this.
  5. nooooooooooooooooooooo~~~~~! they are fast, but they are ugly... PM me yr mobile joel i need yr help
  6. he is doing hill climb as well, i will go 2xGT-RS, fully done up motor doesn't mean MUST go with monster turbo. T04z is a good choice if u want to go single.
  7. stupid to argue WRX can kill R33, as ever car, level of mod and driver skill are always different. most of the time i race WRX i win. i have never lost to a Sti, but beaten by a few of WRX. they are nice car, but not what i want
  8. i come cross a set of nice GTT brake recently, as the disc size 310mm, will it fit under 16"? or any GTT owner try fit a 16" on their front? someone told me it will fit and some say no, hope i can find my answer here. cheers
  9. i know japan is importing HSV seen a HSV ute selling in yahoo japan
  10. but they are more expensive than the re55s in 16" and not grip as well as them.
  11. andrew, get a set of semi-slick on yr stock rim and lets go to have some fun! i will join if my finance allow me for a set tyre and brake at the time.
  12. my friend got a 300kw@wheel R33 GTR full house 2.7L tomei engine STOCK turbo running 1.4 bar <- not blow YET R compound tyre and did 4 - low 4
  13. all i can say is it sounds quite good, my mate got 1 of them. not sure how they engineering it as normally Vacuum Tube can't virbrate AT ALL.
  14. BS G3, i think they are available to 235/245? SO3 should be slighter over yr budget but u will never regret buying a set of them!
  15. don't think 16" will fit if his car is late model supra, which have 4 pot brake 324mm front disc.
  16. supra / R33 GTR won't go for R34, they are pretty similar to yr previous R33, why pay more for something VERY similar? try something new!
  17. their biggest customer recently, candy apple blue, full bodykit wide guard "drift" car u have been told!!! anyway how is the "new" paint?
  18. i know what a SPL car need, and i understand they are not daily driven car. but i think u admire that they are cheap, old and crappy as well. Nobody think a SPL need a bodykit, performance mod, but then a decent paint job is still require, go to AIR see those drag car, THEY ARE not daily driven cars and are bought and prepared (internally) purley for competition (drag). aren't they looks nice?? they are loud, but also crap. u have to always remeber u are going into autosalon, not just SPL comp.
  19. this one looks a bit old but class to me, i prefer 360 - looks more young and sporty. But the design seems to be right, how many young can afford a ferrari?
  20. silvia is a sport car, skyline is a GT. Silvia will be faster and cheaper to mod, but R32 offer u more room & build/ride quality. i will go for skyline
  21. been there recently for 20000k service, will go back again 100%. He didn't give me any "mate's rate" but he price is pretty reasonable. i like the way he treat customer, respect & listen. nothing to complaint but their Fxxking drive way! scratch my exhaust at the first time i been there thanks matt for introduce me never been to D1 but when i ring them up for parts they are helpful & "polite" <- rare! will go there soon as i only find out recently it is not really far from my place
  22. used to have a set in my R33, on some nice road the car handle really good (better than my S15). But it was too hard i think, driving in the hill which have some bumpy road makes me very scarey, the rear wheel is not on the ground when u are doing 100 on some narrow road!
