  1. ok just got a confirmation on price. looks like it will be 14,000yen per tyre ship via ems (so shipping time 4-6days). so 23,350 x 4 yen (RE01R 255/40-17) + 14,000 x 4 yen = 149,400yen = about $1500
  2. waiting on reply about shipping cost, but i have a feeling it may be $100-$150 per tyre with shipping time 4 to 8 weeks as mention before but still got to wait on confirmation on that, i will let you know once i know

  5. thanks for the reply beer baron, but i wont be shipping it by container, or consolidated cargo Duty and GST, shouldn't be an issue as the total cost of the item will come under $1000, which is under the taxable amount, but i will have to double check to make sure it apply to tyres ohh and i have a dude in japan to help me out also: will 255 fit on a 8inch wide rim on the potenza website, it says min is 8.5inch
  6. never said it was fast lol shipping time looks to be 4-8weeks just need to confirm the weight of one tyre and i can see if its worth the trouble. From my investigating price looks to be RE01R 255/40-17 between $200-$250 a tyre which compare to what i pay for my potenza G3 its pretty cheap. Any recommendations on a tyre which will perform similar that are available locally. Cheers Michael
  7. Hi, I'm looking at buying some Potenza RE-01R tires for my R33, so far i havn't had any luck finding someone in perth who have any in stock, or can get them for that matter. So my question is if im get a set from japan, will they be street legal in australia? and if not what will happen if the police stop me and check my tires? Cheers Michael

  21. i had a similar issue but on front left wheel, it turn out to be the castor was total setup wrong. dont know if u can adj the castor on the rear thou
  22. safc should be ok to do that but you won't get the best out of your setup as its only a quick fix... unfortunately powerfc for r32 are hard to come by (need to get the AP type) so there is no real cheap full after market ecu for r32 so maybe a retune of the stock ecu might be your best shot! Their is alot of heavy mod. cars going around with just a retune stock ecu (for example there is a 9sec gtr in japan running stock retune ecu) Cheers Michael
  23. if you plan on getting injectors, depends how large you go, the safc may not be the best opinion, as i know you can run larger injectors but the larger you go the harder it becomes to get it to work right. Also safc does not do timing which if you plan on going further with your mods you want to be able to adjust the timing through the revs etc Althou if you buy the safc and get it tune with what you have now (so safc cost $200 + $150 tune), and changed ur mind later on you should be able to sell the safc for $200 and you just lose out on the cost of your tuning which isn't too much. Cheers Michael
