  1. All the enduros are worth doing, plus if you use a lvl 0 car you'll get lvl 5 in one race making parts for better cars cheaper, it's win/win
  2. Hmm I should check if you can edit the driver or change the driving position, in the super 2000 I couldn't see anything because the wheel was in the way. I've left the HUD on anyway but I think it would be cooler to run without the HUD, the in car guages are accurate.
  3. Go to event list, the one instead of season play and you can just scroll across to them, they are the 100K+, 30+ lap ones. S class is at Sebring, full circuit, worst track in the history of things that need tracks, I'd rather race my Reventon underwater, in a volcanoe, while getting head from a pirahna. oh and some cars don't carry enough fuel to make it all the way...My GT2 started to sputter on the last lap and I had to go as far back as I could on rewind, chuck a u-turn and pit. I had just finished the previous enduro without stopping. I was near a minute ahead, won by less than a second.
  4. ... /facepalm
  5. The endurance type races give you mucho XP. Being lvl 30 something I now have a Muira concept, Veyron, Reventon, 599 (I think?) etc. So you get some pretty decent cars for nothing. The enduros have also instantly put the cars I have completed with to lvl 5. Handy. They take about an hour.
  6. Heman's review of FM3 Doof they are for unlocking a fair chunk of the extra stuff that comes with FM3, about 1.5GB dl iirc
  7. There are 3 DLC codes that come with a pre-ordered Collectors Ed
  8. Putting a 4870 in the media box, cause I can. Aaaaaand I am waiting for 5870 waterblocks to come in before putting the classified block on and getting a 5870.
  9. Remember, only paesants buy the standard edition.
  10. At first I was like Then my stock Fiesta shook the screen and I was like
  11. There is split screen if you go into Free Play, I haven't checked what modes though.
  12. Only 2GB. Why did I come to work today?
  13. Yes, you can get the uncensored version by connecting steam through a proxy.
  14. I rarely buy cars in Forza because generally I buy one then win the same one on the next race/level so I have used the Fiesta, 500, Brera and Focus RS so far. How sweet is the Collectors Ed. though? I've picked up a few special addition type games over time but F3 I think, simple but impressive not just a map and some plastic crap.
  15. The only thing I don't like is the artificial slow down on the tracks with the speed bumps instead of sand traps. How am I supposed to be all awesome and flip my car and shit if they go and do that? I lul'd at myself being in the top 1% for F and E class, what does that even mean?
  16. The greatest racing game I have every played.
  17. Because it's shiny and new and goes to 4GHz pretty easy. Which would be 4 cores, 8 threads at 4GHz, my E8400/3110 ran at 4GHz watercooled too though.
  18. You can count on one hand the number of games that fully utilise more than two cores and off the top of my head only one ever did it really well - Supreme Commander.
  19. This is exactly the problem, you shouldn't need to flood the system with local P2P servers to be able to find one close to you. It shouldn't matter if there is 1 in 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 that has the lowest ping, it should find it and connect you, but it won't and then two other people will join and max out the host's internet connection and you'll all lag out. Or they might ad anti-lag...which isn't anti-lag at all just artificial lag for anyone with a decent connection. If they had done it the other way around and announced the ability to host dedicated servers for consoles on regular servers, even if the hosts had to pay for it, this would have been met with much rejoicing and less about Bowling be a console molesting kent.
  20. Those that think a second set of matching servers in the US won't effect them because they are on console...well we'll see. Generally when a master server responds with servers it has found the list is populated with the servers closest to the master servers first, because they are closer so it takes less time. So when you have a master server on the other side of the Earth and you can't see the list of servers available you are at the mercy of the logic that the IW matching system will use which will most likely be optimized for, you guessed it, the US. There's a reason they added server lists to L4D. Also most consle players won't be able to tell the difference because FPS on console is so damn slow. I notice a difference between a sub 30 and a 50 or greater ping in my game play on PC, it's obvious and frustrating and I have changed ISPs over less. As it has been explained it is P2P with a negotiated connection through IW servers in the US. They really should have hired a network engineer instead of Bowling.

  22. That's essentially what I listed thought I don't really like any of the 775 motherboards that are left, all the good ones went EOL.
  23. Win 7 is good. The cheap speakers will work but you get what you pay for. You can tell them what to build and they will put it together for ~$70
  24. Anything SHAW should be avoided like it has super AIDS and the plague and gay-flu. A-Power are terribad. Get at least a 9600GT they are only a few dollars more. P5P43TD 119 E8400 207 DDR3 4GB G.Skill-NT 103 1GB 9800GT 119 RC690 146 Hitachi 1TB 97 Pioneer218 49 MS 1000 Desktop 35 VH232T 219 That'd work, no speakers in there though.
