Got my delivery today Probably wait til the weekend to install the Classified block.

I received my RMA Corsair GTs early this week and they've been working so far so hopefull I can get some decent OCing done.

Without period physics (COD has no weapon physics just reduced damage over distance) period weaponry is just a skin and wtf all I heard about WaW was 'wah wah Thompson' for months just like the P90. I am looking forward to the call that tells me my Modern Warfare 2 has arrived.

I've used the P5E and the Rampage Formula and they both can run 110 pretty easily however other boards don't like it at all and can also kill your cards. Especially non-grpahics cards in the PCI-e slots.

ATi are apparently on track for DX 11 with Win 7. So once ATi and nVidia have DX11 cards I'll get some new ones, nothing to do with DX11 they just happen to be the next gen of cards. FYI the 8600 is a dog turd of a graphics card as it's memory bus is tiny so no matter how high you OC it's hobbled.

They are in the order! Expected pricing is $179 for the acrylic, $195 for the acetal. Now they just have to allow pickup and all is right with the world. To anyone worried about shipping RMA back I have just dropped stuff off there myself and they didn't have an issue, I mean what are they going to do tell me to piss off and post it to them? Come back with a PDA and a hi-viz polo?

So PCCG are going to stock EK products and aparently have a big order coming. I've sent them an email to find out if that includes the Classified full cover block.

Considering you could buy another keyboard with programmable keys and a 22" LCD for the same price...

Actually my last system had watercooled RAM so the air cooled Dominator GTs are a step back in the cooling stakes. I wouldn't try to remove the heatsinks on this kind of RAM unless I could afford to replace them, they use pretty strong adhesive thermal compound to stick them on and you can rip the ICs off.

If they get the EK/BP tops/covers for the D5 that would be alright. This is exactly what mine would look like if I had the full cover block and my GTs back.

I got all my pumps and blocks when they were much cheaper. Getting the i7 Pro Mount for one of my d-tek Fuzion V2 cost half of what I paid for the block with a 775 pro mount in the first place

Well, not really, but still an awesome game. Will definitely pick up ME2 and eagerly await the announcement of an ME MMO.

prae I am in MSY Clayton sometimes more than once a week, I have the busted arse, loud and filthy silver R33. Buy most of the hardware for work form there but we don't do that much hardware replacement. If MSY have it I don't bother with PCCG etc because I can't pick it up even in the unlikely event that PCCG were somehow cheaper. PCCG became a Feser reseller - they actually have decent prices on the rads, better than the US because they have to get them from Germany first.

I have been looking at it and already have the spare compression fittings. I was expecting to have a WC NB but unfortunately the first board that I got for this system, a Foxconn BloodRage, was killed by a dodgy TFC SLi Vid connector which leaked under the barb's O-ring. As you can see in the picture when testing to try and figure out wtf went wrong it just beaded down the card under the block, into the PCI-E slot and worked it's way to the battery etc and that was one dead BloodRage. Funnily enough the 3870X2 is fine. Would have prefered the BloodRage to survive. I'm also running on some cheaper GSkill RAM while my Dominator GTs are RMA'd as one stick died shortly after getting up and running with the Classified. Was testing out fine and then just stopped working which doesn't seem to be all that uncommon with the high speed Elpida chips. Should get a new set back soon.

I really only use PCCG for stuff that MSY doesn't have, so hardly ever. Bastards with no pickup, I was sure they'd open the shop front again, it's not like they don't have it anymore and there were many complaints. Returns are now a dirty dirty whore to complete with them. So this puts their service at 0 much like MSY except I can go and pick stuff up from them. I hate Gigabyte and their raver vomit colour schemes. You don't really get anything specal from the consumer level brands anyway so it might as well work and look ok. XFX, DFI, Asus they don't accidentally the whole colour scheme. The mobo is slight overkill in terms of functionality but you really do get what you pay for just like PSUs so it's justified. My only quip is the cooler, why is it needed for a media box? I built a friends' system that has been running for around 12 months with a E8200 at 3.0GHz (ran the same chip at 3.8 with a Silent Knight) on the stock cooler in bungalow with no AC. It runs games and more games with a stock cooled 3870 in there too.
