  1. This is on the R33 GT-R? Certainly not 'specialized' and I'd say it's really down to the individual who was sent to do the work rather than a company-wide incompetance. Not that it was the workshop's responsibility but Mick probably should have insisted that the windscreen be re-fitted right then and there and otherwise got onto that fitters supervisor/manager immediately. I've had/seen a couple of windscreens fitted and they came up looking and fitting perfectly. Just seems like the individual fitter didn't care nor take any pride in his/her work which is a pretty piss poor effort.
  2. The Zonda is pretty sweet for speed runs, out of the box it kills almost anything helped by the fact that on a lot of speed runs most AI total themselves. I want a T3 drag car but it's hard to part with my 350Z seeing as it has Stage 4 tyres and what not. Winning 1/2 milers crossing the line backwards ftw. Probably go a GT2 for track but again hard to part with the R34 after getting some Stage 4 parts and it doing so well so far. Using my won M3 for a drift car now and it does quite well in it's 500hp odd form and bugger all upgrades.
  3. Don't be vaginas run your GT-Rs at 894hp on the tightest tracks, zomg. I do. So for a bit I was losing money on every race >> Need more $ for a Pagani. Got a 7.99 out of my 350z drag with almost all won parts (bought T3 tyres) I reckon the drifting is much better once you get used to it. I mean come on one of the best drift cars in the previous games was the Focus ffs. S13 does well with mostly T2 parts 334hp I think.
  4. The rolls are doubtful to be worth anywhere near $600,000 put together.
  5. Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts isn't bad. Waiting for Assassin's Creed.
  6. Right now, well mine were. Nice turn around, good stuff.
  7. the last time I changed brake pads was my last car lol to some $13 nBrake shit, worked pretty well though especially for $13 a pair hahaha (wholesaler/importer is a client)
  8. There's plenty of talk about ultimates eating rotors though, anyone found that to be true?
  9. What are the brake pads like pad vs rotor wear?

    Fuel In Melb

There was a problem at one of the refineries and they haven't been delivering for over a week now, apparently a problem with the fuel itself. Truckies were being told to fill up before going to Melb because there was little/no fuel. No one else heard about this? You'd think it would be bigger news.
  11. Midnight Oil to comemorate Peter Garrett's silence on the pulp mill issue by releasing a greatest hits album consisting entirely of instrumentals.
  12. The Mortal Kombat Reptile not pussy-rudd-ile
  13. I'd vote for Reptile over KRudd
  14. Yeah would have to agree, Racepace.
  15. Wait, Labor is going to make uni spots free and stop international students? Where'd they say that and as if that makes any sense. Rudd's not a liar though, hard to lie when you never answer a question. You CANNOT be stripped of penalty rates, loading etc without compensation. Rudd hasn't addressed anything, he's crapped on about studies that they commisioned that won't tell him anything until it will mean very little to this election. All he has done is made promises about carbon emissions when he'll most likely be dead.
  16. You're clearly a Nazi-Commie-Hippy.

  18. I would say inexperience. Even with a proven management system there are a lot of people that say they can but really just want to give it a crack and hopefully earn an easy buck. My PFC for example (on an auto 230rwkw still going strong) first off went to my usual mechanic who is a great bloke, no bs, listens to what I have to say as generally I'll only make a request or suggestion if I actaully do have some idea. He said he'd have a go however also said he'd never done one before. All honest and up front, he didn't have much luck but sorted out a couple of other things for me and didn't charge me for the time he spent on the PFC. Next guy said no worries, does them all the time etc, ran like garbage and had to reset it within a couple of days to get it at least running properly myself. So third time lucky no more mucking about, straight to Racepace and Ben sorts it, done deal, no problems.
  19. I've got one of those and it's been really good, sounds like you got a bit of a lemon turbo.
  20. Sliding turbo? Didn't you bolt it on? If there is no sign of oil contamination, where is the oil going?
  21. Awesome
  22. Something tells me that one had more to do with road head than high powered vehicles. Driver training protects young drivers. Nothing protects stupid drivers.

    Eastside!

I can relate to quite a few of those but I've lived a little too far east for some. Though I work on Springvale Rd now.
  24. AFL and NRL aren't you all happy the #1 and supposed second best teams got in? So who was the WA punter with over $300,000 on Geelong by 39+? A Geelong Melbourne double would have been a nice payout. Go Storm, far and away the best team of the last two years.
  25. Know what, I can think of a lot worse things than losing my license. Then again I've never even lost 1 point, go figure. I have a feeling that will change quick smart if I start working where there are say, police around more than once every 6 - 12 months.
