  1. r34 gtt auto, i get roughly 410km out of tank, and thats if i drive like im 'driving miss daisy'... go the turbo though as you will most likely end up in the na performance thread asking about turbo conversions, i know i did with my NA supra
  2. Just a very quick question guys, does anyone know of the Apexi N1 catback exhaust system would fit a 34 sedan? (too short maybe?) Thanks!
  3. or, i guess those stealth BOVs might be what your after; basically you can switch between the "flutter" and a 'stock' plumback setup. Not sure if those are legal or not?
  4. i just used a piece of light steel to anchor it to a point where the old box used to screwed down on; however on the weekend a got my self a piece colorbond steel and "fabricated" a sheild that seperates the pod from the rest of the engine bay, the sheild also used the same airbox points to bolt down on to, basically the sheild passes through the pod and afm which holds down the pod.
  5. yea i just used the orginal gasket, still was in good nick; getting the rest of system done soon so its going to be replaced anyway.
  6. no probs with using the existing gasket, what do you mean by too small?
  7. yeah stock boost; still using the stock cat and system after the dump, the power gain seem to be noticable as well, turbos alot noiser now though.
  8. Installed the pipe on weekend, took about 4hrs, mostly just spraying the rusted bolts with rp7 and waiting around for it to work its magic. A couple of questions though, did anyone else notice that if you give it some it seems to over boost? on the drive to work this morning i put the foot down about half way to work (gives it about a 10min warm up) then a soon as the auto kicked back the turbo spool was a hell of alot louder than before and boost shot up to just below the 1+ line (didn't hear anything rattle down the exhaust pipe though, thank god), normal? should i be concerned?
  9. im in! put me down for the 2nd gb. R34 Gt-t split dump. could you pm me once it gets going?
  10. my N/A supra goes just has hard as my GT-T, supras are more suited as a weekend car as the r34 a better choice as a daily driven car.
  11. im going all black, when i eventaully stop being a tight wad and fork out for a set of rims. Black i think on a silver car would look pretty good, as mentioned above, the z-tune is hot!!!
  12. the town where work theres usually a camera setup just before the 60 to 80km/h sign so they get people who accelerate a bit earlier than they should; got me one day in the supra, the ticket, after the 5km/h deduction got me doing 1km/h over!

    R34 Drivers?

the cheapest way is to buy the ford o2 sensor from repco and re-wire the connection. Damn! sorry about your rear end hey GTTR34, your front bumper, where did you get it and how much did it set you back(please tell me it wasn't over $1000)?

    R34 Drivers?

Congrads on the skyline! anyway, replace the o2 senser, i had about the same fuel economy but once replaced, i got an extra 120km out of a tank (went from about 300km a tank to 420km). @ GTTR34, front bumper, where and how much?
  16. A 10-48 at Krispy Kreme or is that a 10-6? http://tinypic.com/e63prl.jpg
  17. remember this? Click the 'watch' button.
  18. would this help? http://www.dannychoo.com/images/photo/1099.jpg http://www.dannychoo.com/images/photo/1095.jpg
  19. "sped along the shoulder to overtake a semi-trailer on the inside"......gumball rally anyone? "she said the drivers were travelling about 80km/h" "there could have been an accident at any time" really?.....just because they they had huge exhausts and everything was it? "the witness saw this mob of about 20 drivers braking and dangerously swapping lanes in a 100km/h zone.." haven't they ever seen typical city driving? but i guess that since they were in hotted up cars then they are considered hoons?
  20. would the different tyre widths screw with the HICAS ?
  21. thanks for the replies; i guess 17x9 (all round) should do the trick then. Will probably have to lower the car at the same time also....so it wont look too goofy.
  22. its probably as good as im going to get on my car budget, they dont look too different from the lm's which i will never be able to afford. The offset mentioned on the site, do you think they should fit the skyline?
  23. Any one seen/purchased these rims? http://www.modyourcar.com.au/product_info....roducts_id=4428 They look to be alright, very similar to the nismo ones (and at an affordable price) which im looking for. Looks to be a set offset, so will the +30 17x9" for the front and +15 17x9.5" for the rear fit a r34?
  24. the headlights and horn should of been working to get a roadworthy, sounds like hes just being dodgy.
