  1. i recommend buying an R34 if you want one so badly. theyre cheap now plenty for sale in the forsale section on these forums for well under 20gs
  2. i reckon go with those they look cool
  3. iv listed everythig on my policy/ boost controller, dash alterations (gauges) short shifter, after market horns everything is there i went over my car with a fine toothed comb just to make sure there was no way they could screw me if i needed to make a claim.
  4. mate justcars allow for unlimited mods. and you can reduce your preimum even further with justcars ad-just excess increase your excess and pay a lower premium jesus that sounded a bit like an ad ring justcars today
  5. me too agreed value with justcars my R33 is insured for way more than what i could get if i sold it today. they base their premiums on the type of car, where its parked and driver record. i increased my agreed value by 5 thousand dollars and my premium didnt change at all.
  6. toshi if you install exhaust cam gear can you alter timing to dial in one or two more psi of boost above 12 psi? UAS installed a bigger plenum, exhaust cam gear and with stock ECU (with fuel cut defender) made 220kw on a R33 Gts-t standard turbo http://www.uniqueautosports.com/pricelists...ylineturbos.htm P.S. im still waiting for UAS to ring me for my short shift kit. when it does im popping over for remap. get ready for me lol.
  7. get an ecu remap after uv done some mods for your 34 will pull harder and give you better fuel economy
  8. looks like a weapon go Freshjive
  9. + 1 i still don't know whose talking so many ppl into buying split pipes for standard turbo.
  10. also notice how no women are looking at the porsche 911 can make these cars look better anyway with a few mods. most young girls wouldnt even look at a guy in a 911.
  11. i will admit the car has its ways with the women. but i like the way skylines have a hardcore JDM look too with a few mods. most S15 owners these days and other jap cars go for the sexspec look as you see at Autosalon. need more jap looking cars at these shows but i don't have the balls to put my car in any of these shows.
  12. this is my 98 40th anniversary. with a list of mods that runs for a page long. wouldnt sell it for anything else though.
  13. run a search this was covered not long ago
  14. hey mate welcome to the forums. sexy car nice colour. i too have 40th anniv in black. funny your's is stock though. say goodbye to your wallet is all i can say. mine started stock and seriously gone overboard but i love spending money on my car. and im sure you will too. pride and joy. i also like cruising down the street knowing 99.99999% of the R33s out there are older than mine and their drivers would prefer to be driving a newer skyline. i think they have better resale too being a lot newer. mine has 64,000 genuine k's on the clock. still only a baby plenty of life left in her and the turbo.
  15. yeh i too have had badges removed my car has had all the 40th anniversary features replaced except for the rear strut brace. guy in japan did it all the car has been debadged, the rear gtr spoiler was replaced with a d wing and a GT spoiler, the front bar has been replaced by a real 400r front bar which i still have yet to see where to buy a replacement in case this one gets smashed. the 400r front bars you buy online from uas or carmate look very different to mine. mine looks like a modified GTR front bar. and my front seats have been replaced by Recaros. its factory black but yeh definetely a 40th anniversary
  16. + 1 the turbo looks brutal. perfect upgrade for GTS-T
  17. i too have tein super streets in my r33 ride quality is awesome. sits well on the road doesnt bounce around not too harsh on big bumps. feels good through corners too. best value for money coil overs i believe.
  18. i thought of going through the gcg high flow route but iv decided to go for HKS GTRS which is muich more reliable than the gcg high flow and is also a direct bolt on kit for R33 from nengun its 2600 delivered minus the cost of selling your good conditioned turbo gcg charge 2000 to high flow your standard turbo. so for the extra 300 odd definetely go HKS
  19. im italian croatian too. 2nd generation aussie. i do look a bit like a wog face-wise but without the sick hair cut and the gold and the filthy mouth. never had any problems with cops except when i was caught speeding. and even then the cop was talking to me about how he also owns an R33 how really difficult to drive slowly in his too. legend.
  20. im the same i thought of taking out a novated lease with work and salary sacrifice for a brand new car. but honestly. out there i don't know which brand new car, bang for buck has as much performance, looks, value for money, cheap to mod, great fun as my line. was considering new ford falcon turbo. but still. my 98 black r33 looks 1000 times better. my boss has an 08 sti for 80 grand. subaru can forget it. driven it and was not impressed at all. even after tuning mods. so until something better comes my way thats in my price range im keeping my skyline.
  21. i went and saw toshi last sunday i am getting a remap done by him. at 13 psi dropping down to 12 with my set of mods will definetely see over 200kw and all up supplied fitted and tuned only costs $450 i was looking at getting same performance and power figures from power fc and tune which would have cost $2000 + stuff that. he said he can also do this same tune of the factory ECU for up to 400hp. and has tuned aftermarket turbos. once put on the dyno his road tunes were only the slightest bit out in comparison to a dyno tune. so slight there was hardly any difference. bang for buck. toshi's the man.
  22. x 2 i too have been running about one bar for almost two years. had turbo checked out no play still going strong 10 year old car. but i am also upgrading shortly so regardless if it goes i wont be fussed. upgrading.
