My instruction manual says something about turbo timer mode - it'll allow an external turbo timer to keep the engine running for a little bit... But I suppose I need to find the alarm control unit and find out. Who sells the turbo timers, and what brands are what?

Hey guys, Anyone know where I can get a turbo timer in Sydney (Eastern suburbs prefferably) and for how much? Also, how well do they attach themselves to alarm systems? It'd look a little silly having the alarm go off after the alarm is armed 'cause the engine is still running...

How in gods name did you crack open the light bar? The glue holding the read part of the bar to the red bit seems a little strong...

Hi Guys, I'm after some side skirts for my beast (R33 GTS-T). Attached is a picture of the type I'm after - the usual stock looking ones.. I'm in the Sydney area. My car is silver, so I'd prefer those. But if a good price is attached to any other colour, then there shouldn't be a problem. Thanks!

I used a screw driver with a removable head. I jammed the head in a shifty spanner and sorta held the whole thing together while I unscrewed it using the shifty for leaverage... Kinda dodgy

Scrolling lights? Is there a secret to cracking the light bar open? It looked sealed to me.

Don't you just love how the excise tax is taxed with. Well, I suppose the government is providing us a service - paying taxes - which then needs to be taxed with GST... And paid with taxed income. And then come rego day, you are taxed for the ability to be taxed on your excise tax with your income taxed money... Either I'm fu*ked up, or the government is... Or both :confused:

Hi Guys, My wing's brake lights seem to have died. I ripped them out to test various things, and the car's putting 12v up to the lights fine... Anyway, I'm in the market for a replacement. It's a stock R33 GTS-T type-m wing. Anyone know who's the best person to see about these things? Or perhaps someone has a spare one lying around collecting dust?

Well I'm even less of an electrician. But they're stock wheels and I don't think there's anything special about the tyres - they're still the ones the compliancer dude put on. Aside from an after-market stereo, I believe the speed alert chime has been disabled (unless I go deaf past 110kph ) but that seems all... Who knows. I think I'll try and get a knowledgable guy / girl to try and get the diagnostics mode working... :

And yet it does. Perhaps the light is coming on because of it being unable to determine the speed of the car, and for that reason the wheels move... Who knows until I can get this diagnostics mode working. Anyway, I'm going on the dawn cruise to the gong tomorrow, so I might be able to get some info on it there...

I am having problems with my hicas... After about 15 - 20 minutes of driving, the light comes on. There's no noticable changes to the way the car drives, and I can see the rear wheels move ever so slightly while steering to full lock. The first thing I did was to top up the power steering. I have been trying to get the diagnostics to appear, with no luck. Either I'm doing it wrong, or there's something wrong with a sensor like brakes or speed, etc... So just to verify my procedure: 1) Turn off car, leave in neutral 2) Turn it on 3) 20o left and right 5 times. 4) Pump brake 5 times 5) Press brake again 6) Drive (or roll, really) 5 metres ahead really slow. 1) From the time I turn on the car, to the time I start the 5m drive, how many seconds do I have? 2) In step 5, do I hold the brake in slightly and heel-toe it foward, or tap it in and out? My car is a stock R33 '95 model. The 4WS appears to be fully electric.

Bloody hicas.. I get the light on too.. R33 purely stock. It seems to come on after about 15 - 20 minutes of freeway / country town driving (i.e. straight and fast). It doesn't go away until I turn off the car and restart it. There seems to be no degraded performance at all, and my power steering is nice and full. Anyway, next time the light comes on, I'll pull over and see if the rear wheels steer at all. If they do, I imagine it's just the sensor...

Hrmm.. I'm looking at getting some side-skirts for my beast, but they'll need to be sprayed and fitted. I talked to this one guy who reackons around $250 for a spray and fit of both skirts. How's that price? Good, average, pretty expensive?
