  1. I hope you find out what it was, would be a fair pain in the ass to put it all back together and still have the issue.
  2. So you never tried it on a dyno to determine if it was the oil pump or the Gs and stock sump? : /
  3. My link works.
  4. You don't need the anchor, you just need the anchor points. If you have the hole for them at all three seats then you are fine. Ring them up and they will tell you this.
  5. Yep you need one for each seat. You almost certainly already have the anchor points, the clips are like $7 but you don't need them to pass.
  6. Do you have the mounting points for the child restraints already fitted? If so you don't need to do anything, this should have been done when the car was imported. Regency had a go at me because I didn't have the actual child restraint hooks, however if you have the anchor points this is all that is needed, they can be fairly hard to see and find but if you have them then this is all that is required.
  7. You forgot the colon in http:// http://s1229.photobucket.com/albums/ee463/mick_o1/?action=view¤t=video-2011-11-02-20-43-43.mp4 you just need to copy paste the link lol. Control + V in the address bar, then press control + V in the textbox and press post = win!
  8. If you run a pod then they are where all the noise comes from.
  9. Here us another GTX3071 with poncams on a neo rb25det. Pretty damn impressive for a 71 on only 15psi in the top range. Apparently the boost is wrong on the graph, it comes on a lot sooner than it indicates, an issue with the sensor having lag apparently. Can read about it all here http://forum.nistune...&t=950&start=60 tuner was very surprised with the result as well.
  10. Very nice looking curve there, how did you get it on full song so early?
  11. Lol you guys have never done a skid before? Rose coloured glasses anyone? haha
  12. It would be f**k all difference in AFR. You would only really notice it at low loads, or if you were tuning right on the edge, it would detonate before the other cylinders.
  13. Running rb20 ecu and loom with a neo 25, cut the ignitor off the loom and rewired the cas and it all seems to run fine.
  14. Fairly sure they are.
  15. They run fully sequential ignition so that wouldn't happen. However mixing the injectors up would mean one ran slightly leaner and one slightly richer as some of the fuel would pool on the valve vs less on the other cylinder. So if this has been mixed up then it would quite possibly still mean worse idle/low load running as 2 cylinders would be running slightly out of sync AFR wise.
  16. Which is what is being investigated now. The pin swap is only relevant to RB25 owners running RB20 ECUs and it does (or at least did) say to do it in the manual, it is only relevant if it is fully sequential though. Time will tell. Not really sure what you are getting at.
  17. There are a lot of boards to remember, the software works the same for different hardware.
  18. Pete is going to pull apart an ECU and get to the bottom of it. Curious what the case is, I am not sure if I am running a rb20 or rb25 injector loom so will be curious about this pin swap as well as I also have an idle misfire.
  19. Will wait for Pete to reply. If he has a bench setup it is VERY easy to tell if it is fully sequential. Another test is to pull your cas out and spin it by hand, can you hear the injectors fire one by one, or in banks?
  20. Crans I think I found where the misinformation came from, have a look at my latest post on the nistune thread.
  21. No he was talking about every single ECU that supports nistune.
  22. Pete replied with: Yeah, over on SAU they think a lot of things... It's been awhile since I took a detailed look but I'm pretty sure they use injector driver chips with 4 drivers each. So a 6 would use 4 elements from one and 2 from the other. There's sure to be somebody who knows the ECU circuitry better than me but I'm pretty sure that was the deal. I can definitely tell you the RB20/VG30 is sequential cos I've got 6 injectors hooked up to my test rig and you can distinctly tell that they're firing sequentially. PL edit: I think it is the type 1 board that has only two injector drivers, eg the redtop ECU in the R31s
  23. http://forum.nistune...&t=2135&p=15305 I asked the nistune guys, from their bench testing this is what Pete has seen. All SR20DET (except RNN14) and 16-bit Z32 are batch fire at all times. All ECU's go batch fire if they go into limp-home mode. CA18DET is sequential at low loads and goes batch fire at high loads. All others are sequential all the time.
  24. A lot of us do drive like dicks at times, if you saw a commodore pull out of a sidestreet and hang the back out for no reason doing 80 in a 60 you would laugh when he got defected. Even if it was 11pm on a Tuesday with no one around. When you are honestly doing nothing and get done then I can see where the anger comes from.
