  3. RB26 intake to throttle body to plenum gaskets are prone to leaking.
  4. Done this with many R33s but would think 34s are the same.

  7. Gears on stock car will get you 2% if your lucky but PFC can be 30%+ over a stock GTR ECU and get rid of steed cuts etc.

  9. We have done major testing and all other factors equal even some in favour of the RB26 the 25 still makes the power easyer. This is why we made our single kits. This will become another of those threads that turns dark so just come in and we can show you the graphs and even some cars that very much prove this fact.

  11. Ask Microtech if they can use low impedance injectors but i think they can.
  12. We have done a GTR and GTS back to back on the same turbo (GT30)The RB26 needed 5PSI more boost to make the same power as the GTS , but remove the 6 throttle bodys and the 26 show their tru form.
  13. Go for a drive in Pauls car if you think you need a GTR head. Make sure you inc the cost of drilling and tapping the RB25 block to 12mm bolts to suit the RB26 head, the cost will blow out and at 17 you dont want to get 1/2 way thru a big job and find you cant afford to finish it.

  17. The GTR ECU can work and it uses MAF not MAP sensors and can be remapped but the cost of everything inc GTR heads is nuts for the power you will get. Just fit a Good turbo and ECU plus good exhaust and cooler and you have a safe 330+rwhp using the RB25.Total cost of around $6-6500 but the GTR setup would cost around 13k all up inc exhaust cooler head labour gaskets etc and then you still have a 2nd hand turbos,ECUs head ETC.Your comp ratio will be low also so you should really change pistons etc. Not the best way to do a budget performance upgrade as even a complete RB26 import motor would be cheaper. Copy Shutto boys old RB25 setup as it made 360rwhp and was a nice car to drive.
  18. Fits up OK and Wolf will run it but the best thing is to use a beefed up VL turbo auto box.
  19. We have (as have many other shops) PC software for D-jetro so thats no reason not to use it.
