ULOOOK you snobbed me heaps bad last thursday night at nobbys! Ive got a 33 gtst resprayed blue too, but with a cf bonnet and you looked at me like you wanted to stab me lol. looked at you to say hi then thought better of it haha. I'm after the brackets, top and bottom, for an R33 aircon condensor and whatever holds the fan onto it. Also after the little clip that holds down the bonnet rod thingy when its not being used. Cheers

Thanks heaps SydneyKid i understand the engine heaps better now, i think this engine is what i'm going to aim for rather than a kit upgrade for the rb25 ive got at the moment. PaulR33 - How cheap are you talking about for the cheap rb30? Any turbo? I'm probably not going to go for a cheap engine, i want something that is going to hold together and be reliable. Is 300rwkw a realistic goal, while retaining good drivability and responsiveness? What would be the total price of this engine, not the cheapie but not an all out weapon driven once a month, built by a reputable company who knows what they are doing? Cheers for the links too. Black32 - Yeah i was wondering how cheap the cheap version could be as you still need all the stuff you listed. Doesn't sound much different between the cheap and the all out version, except forged internals and balancing...

R31Nismoid - thanks for your advice. But why do you say 'you dont need to rev them - thats the best part' if there is no advantage or disadvantage in your view? And i just asked if they can be as strong, because Nissan never brought out the Rb30det, its parts from two different engines so i figured it may have some weaknesses. And for characteristics i want? Not sure, thats why I'm asking what this engines' are!

Ive been reading heaps about how to build the RB30DET, the guide, topics, turbo choice etc, and i just want some more information about this engine. Mainly, what are the advantages and disadvantages over the Rb25det? Pretty much all i know is that boost would come on earlier due to the extra 500cc. Can they be revved as hard? If built by a proper workshop, can they be as strong and reliable as an rb25? Whats an average figure to get one of these engines fully built and into your car (if anyone has previous experience)? So basically, the advantages and disadvantages of building one of these engines. Also any other information anyone thinks would be interesting, thanks Luke

Hey good news i found Cucusoft Ipod movie converter and downloaded it from CNet. It works really quick in converting the files into Mpeg 4 but now i dont know how to view them. I dragged and dropped the file into my music list, and it copied to my ipod under 'Movies' in the video section but it only plays the audio, not the visual. Does anyone know why? This also happened when i copied come music videos off my friends computer. Ive got no idea
