Hey this could be a really good thread if everyone chips in a bit on what they've done and shouldnt have. Here's mine. If you've got vents in your bonnet so you cover up your air filter with, say, a plastic bag to stop water in the intake when you wash the car, REMEMBER TO TAKE THE BAG OFF BEFORE YOU DRIVE IT!!!! Ive only had my skyline two weeks and i already stuffed up. Need a new air filter now... laugh it up

Just curious because i bought my R33 2 weeks ago and its got a CF bonnet and looks identical to this one

How muh do you think that bonnet would have cost?

I bought my 33 a few days ago, and i was told the condenser and fan for the aircon needed replacing. Just wondering if anyone knows the going price of one of these from a wreckers? Dont want to get ripped off paying too much. Thanks everybody

Hey mine makes the flutter noise and i took some pics but i cant post them. does someone want me to email them to them so they can put them up? Looking at Tiggers picture, mine is the same exept there is no blowoff valve and instead a pipe running from the intercooler piping straight out about 10cm then turns left and appears to plug into or run under the back of the plunum, very close to the blue plug you can see in his pic.

I bought my skyline two days ago and it does this massive flutter every gearchange higher than 2000 rpm. the front mount pipework was custom made and where the stock blowoff valve usually is there is just a pipe running to a hole in the side of the plenum at the back. Anyone know whats going on?

Im also keen for pricing on clear indicators. Interested when you find out the price. Cheers

haha had to read this thread when i saw the heading. Yeah mate u have to either record sounds from ur mates turboed car or the net or shove your head out the window every gearchange and go 'PPPSSHHHH!' and dodge the street signs coming for your head. Either way ul get the attention ur after lol.

Arent the laws different between states, im in NSW? Im not looking to get it on my car, im possibly buying a car that already has it on it...

If your really stuck for ideas you could separate the screen from the unit and run some longer wires between both, then u could mount the screen in a different spot where it might not have fit with the whole unit, e.g glove box. but u might not be able to get it back together again. just an idea.
