  1. Steve is a trustworthy trader that keeps you informed and is honest in his discriptions. Recommended seller. A+

  2. he'll be happy you said late 40's too he is actually a bit older than that. LOL
  3. The owner of the car is Peter Leehmuis his is a good family friend. He is bringing the car to the shop in a week or so to take a few of us for a drive...cant wait, as I hoping my old man sells the 350z and gets one of these. Pete also owns a 348, 355 and has on order a limited edition 430. There is alot of crap about compliance here is what Pete has told me. This was one of the first complied ie first 3 or so, Nissan still havent put in their import intentions yet but are kicking up a stick that there are private ones coming in, and did try and stop the first ones ever being driven etc, and compliance was around 12K.
  4. Hi, After inlet plenum, manifold, throttle bodies, and throttle return bridge and associated brackets for rb26. Please PM me or send me a sms on 0418 327 427. Cheers, Daniel
  5. Heres a place to mount if you piss off that pesky abs. My catch can cathces the oil, there is an oil drain to empty when full, i dont want this airated and vapour back in amongst my quality oil thus no oil return. Cheers
  6. URAS- Yeah Street machines and rods are mainly what we build, we are building 2 34's at the moment and helping a mate with a 32 roadster. Blitz- It is Niks old car, she it still alive, had it off the road for the last 5 years, I dont there is one thing still on the car that would be the same as when nick had it, event the dash pad and seats are out of a differnt GTR and they are about the most standard parts left on the car. Cheers all
  7. naprec run 6mm on the exhaust which will mean custom exhaust guide. I have used ferrea, naprec, and nitto recommend them all, but ferrea is the best quality IMHO.
  8. The HKS is a great turbo, but at what cost? I can buy two borg's with titanium wheels, race covers that are polished, and specify my rear Ar for the price I was quoted on one t51, and it wasnt the spec you have mentioned. Also forgot to mention the new borg S380, with 80mm comp wheel, 108mm inducer, titanium wheels, race cover, good for 1000hp, last time I was quoted $1999USD. Now that would be a good turbo, and I have to agree that with these big turbo's and in a drag racing application you should seriously ditch the manual.
  9. Sorry your right typo there, I meant the s471. A S372 with titanium wheel would be absolute killer also as both have 71-72mm comp wheels but the 3 series is t4 flange, a little easier to package over the t6 stuff. The 4294 wheel trims are kinda arkward, they are sized down to make the jump from say a t04Z to the next size a little easier to take for the point of view of lag but if you check out the comp maps to my eyes they are sacraficing alot of mid and top end performance and you have to remember when you are talking a turbo this big thats really the name of the game. Cheers

  11. Borg warner 472 is what you want. cheaper than Garret stuff and far far more reliable check out bullseye racing in the states, and also paradise racing for pricing. If you were to stay with garret 4094 and 4294 arent really that good of a turbo, your best bet would be 4202R but you will struggle launching it with a manual.
  12. Yeah the article didnt make a few things very clear. This Engine and gearbox is rwd as the whole combo is going in a c110 skyline I am building at the moment, I built this motor as I had a lot of parts I wanted to test on it, for example I am mocking up a dry sump setup at the moment and it is cheaper to test it on this motor that already runs numbers, amd runs perfectly than to try it on a fresh engine that has not been run yet. This car has a 30 bottom end half completed for it, and it will be awd auto when that combo goes in. I hope that makes sense. Also the rb25 block was choosen as it is easier to run the rwd sump (ie the tin one) than to cut a good 4wd sump and make it rwd as you would have to do for a rb26. Also this was a really pristine rb25, and it has an rb26 crank, rods, pistons, head so is more or less a 26 now. Thanks for the comments guys cheers I scanned in the cover but my scanner isnt big enough and its pretty bad quality.
  13. Hi all just thought I would make a post to say thanks to all the support on these forums over the years, the fruits of my labor are in the latest Fast Fours. Pretty Good article few mistakes but all in all its an honor to get on the cover of a mag. Cheers all and thanks for the PM's of support really appreciate it.
  14. just wondering if anyone has any contact details for performance-wise (a phone number or a email) as i have PM him 4 times regarding a matter and have had no luck thanks
  15. i got a r32 gtr wing in that colour, although the paint is abit faded would suit a repaint... make me an offer im in canberra
  16. i have a nice clean front strut brace i cant use, the strut tops are paint charcole and the bar is polished...
  17. A ka24 head will fit a l18 with a fair bit of work, we are about to attempt just waiting for the head to arrive from the states. There is a guy in the states that cut 3 ka24 heads in to 2 cylinders then joined them together and put it on his z, with twin turbos the cars makes in excess of 500whp, very involved engineering project though not for the faint hearted.
  18. i also have one of these items for sale... it is a cat back system & am open to offers great streatable exhaust... 0407355454
  19. I took the pic I greyscaled it to make the chrome look better minus the sunset reflections
  20. I have done it in my GTR, car is running 630rwhp and loving it. I welded up the hole left by cutting off the tranfere case with 10mm ally plate then surfaced the gearbox and the tranfere case to be a perfect fit. I then put a litre of diff oil in the tranfere case which with acceleration and decelleration should keep the bearing oiled, they are not noisy yet and that included a thrashing all weekend at powercruise. One thing to watch out for is make sure tou put the selector pivot back on the selector shaft the right way up, otherwise you will be pulling it apart to do it later, its simple mistake if your not paying attention. ie I did it on mine at around 2am when I should have been in bed instead of working on cars haha.
  21. you should be seeing this engine bay on the cover of an upcoming fast fours mag. Cheers
  22. You wont get much lighter than Weld superlights just email them and ask if they can do you a custom offset, other options are centrelines or american racings, spun alloy wheels that are pressed together will be a hell of a lot lighter than any one piece or modular alloy wheels.
  23. Rob82 you are a straight out knob!!! Re-read what is actually said and what you came up with as responses. If you are in the tuning business and you have never tuned more less heard about ls1's making over 300rwkw NA you need to get out of the job!!! Thats all I can really say. I have personally built a vy ss ute with: cam, pushrods, inlet manifold, and tune makes 322RWKW, Adrian has seen the car I am refering to and I can get dyno sheets to prove this. It is in street commodores with the dyno sheet printed for heavens sake. We are currently rebuilding this car with a stroker crank, better heads, bigger cam, more comp and based on a motor that Sams Performance have built, with similar mods, that just this weekend made 411RWKW at a nationally syndicated dyno competition, following national dyno guidelines for dyno comps, Ie stricter than your local shop trying to inflate dyno figures, Id say your comments about 2 valve heads being donkey are just as biased and stereotypical as a redneck having a go at anything japanese as a rice burner.
  24. Thanks Christian, Car has genuine 260XXX kms on it as varified by mercedes service papers. It is a 250 optioned with air con, 1974 model the last of the 114 body style. Tranny is auto naturally most mercs are, with the manuals being very rare and a pain to get parts for, auto is the go for a cruiser like this.
