  1. If you mount the spray nozzles on the sides shooting across the cooler rather than straight down like most people tend do think is best, you get a pretty impressive coverage (this takes some time to aim properly so the water "skips" across the length of the core). The idea behind the mist nozzles is not to be used at high speed anyways, that's when the fins are already as cold as they will get (for the most part). If you shoot the cooler with a little bit of water before you want to take off though, it helps to cool the relatively hot metal down a bit and will do even more than just having dry metal from the launch. quite useful when the lineup for the track forces you to sit at idle in the sun for extended periods.
  2. i only own a gts-t... but i still beat the piss out of it. these cars are built like tanks, and if anything does break, it just gives me an excuse to go bigger/better/badder
  3. not to bring a thread back from the dead or anything, but i just used my rear window washer. Dont need to install anything but extra lines to the front and a nozzle. total it cost me about $6 and it's push button from the dash cluster. who uses the rear window washer anyways? mine always hit the boot lid
  4. one word, torrent. I have an alpine nav unit in my car and just downloaded the north american version of software, burnt it, it works. give it a search and see if you can find something online to d/l
  5. i run a Blitz SBC-iD, holds up to 2.5bar and it's dual solenoid. So far have had no issues what-so-ever and it mounts very nicely in an R32 ashtray to keep prying eyes in the dark. Kind of nice that it has so many options and that you can pick them up used for about 300$ I bought it because everything in my car must be controllable from the interior and a manual boost controller doesnt offer that. It's a wonderful little toy purely because of that feature alone. more info here... Blitz SBC-iD
  6. hey now! i may be a touch on the slow side, but it's Eh, not Ayy... Fonzie says Ayy!! B) ... we say eh?
  7. sure... dont include the lurkers... i know when i'm not wanted I've been a lurker here for a while. you guys have much more general information and knowledge than canadians on the Skyline subject so this is a place i come for reference. I mentioned doing an RB30DET swap and needed to explain myself... anyways, since this is my first actual post, i'm matt from winnipeg, manitoba, canada and drive a 1990 GTS-t M that's currently a monster in the making.
  8. can you email/pm me with a price for a passenger side window switch? the switch, round plate and the connection bit are all needed. thanks
  9. Same on this end. I just bought a bar from a local guy and need to install it. I was told by a few nissan heads over here that the power steering pump would have to be changed. none of them have done it to an R32 gtst type m, and it's rare to know anybody who has. R32 GTS-t type M, what needs to be done to remove everything?
  10. I will be doing something to that nature with my laptop screen. I already have a monitor in the top slot for the stereo, but stand-alone is sounding pretty sweet. My idea will include a fibreglass housing for the angle to be perfect for the driver though, no flush mount on mine. Mix of because i love doing fibreglass and because it's meant for me anyways.
  11. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I don't want them to change the GTR into a 350Z style When I first learnt that the canadian 350Z was the american version of a Skyline, i almost cried. It's such an ugly design, why can't they stick with a muscle car look and not a volkswagon beetle? I know the next skyline I buy will be an R34 GTR (when they become legal here) just for sheer looks *drools*
