  1. 12.651 at 114.64mph on Hancooks :burnout: time for better tyres & suspension Thanks to SST's in Perth & Adrenaline in Bunbury. Cheers

  3. ......and then.... sorry bout the pic quality
  4. oooooh , That vid makes me feel sick! Impressive effort tho Good luck with the build.
  5. Paulie , I got 1 , minus the bend & flange that joins it to stock system. Yours if ya need it
  6. Just cause you asked so nicely Geoff , R33 GTS25t 4 door Auto RB25det :Bang: Blown ringlands on No.1 punched small hole in skirt , & dropped the sparkplug in No. 5 (which ended up in the exhaust wheel of my turbo) Caused by detonation! most likely due to excessively advanced timing intake , exhaust, fmic , safc = 280rwhp 275/40/17 rear on 9 1/2" rims , 245/40/17 front , on 8 1/2" rims Using Havoline Synerngy 10w50 fully synthetic much more detail at http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...65&page=1&pp=25
  7. My RB25 let go on stock management! (only Safc interceptor) , the fault was purely mechanical , not ecu related
  8. Go the Wolf! Just getting used to mine but all good so far. Goto www.wolfems.com.au & download V4 User Guide , it shows Boost control every 125rpm from 0 - 16000rpm! With boost cut options. The other main advantage over SAFC/EBC is ignition control! Oh yeah....& flick the "NICS" lol
  9. DOH! ,Least your ok mate Might try & find a roof cut with a Sunroof??? I hope you get this sorted quick Cheers Troy Rep.
  10. All Righty Then :burnout: drum roll please...........320rwhp @ 16psi on Vortex........ The beast is back (has been for a week ) and things are starting to sort themselves out! The car is a whole lot of fun to drive atm , especially in the wet! & before everyone howls at me for running Shite fuel..."I Know!" this is a daily driver map & my company has Ampol Starcards! so it make sense to tune it to suit. Once I have a few teething problems sorted out , I will take it back to SST's (with 98 gas ) and add a little more boost & a lot more timing In the meantime it's all good , barring a lack of Cold Start tuning (My fault , by the time I drive the 200kms to Perth , It Aint Cold!) & a noisey starter motor (I have 1 being recond now , Thanx Dsturbd ) My initial "testing" over the 1/4 is verry promissing & I cant wait to get it back to the plex. And Yes! I will be using the NOS again after a few more k's on the car , in the meantime the extra horses are the automotive equal to Viagra! Cheers Troy Rep.
  11. My timing belt is being fixed "Right Now" Ready to be Leant on Tommorow Below is an exploded veiw that shows my timing belt problem...hope it helps someone else Washer 13021F on the crank MUST bell towards the main crank pulley , or it shaves bits of ya belt! 730 out of 1000kms :headspin:
  12. It LIVES!!!! My beloved 4 door is back on the road Busy running it in at the moment , only 400kms to go (read Friday!) The Wolf is in & working a treat , the Hi Stall in a freaky experience tho :headspin: especially at the moment. With a 3000rpm lock up & a 4000rpm rev limit whilst breaking it in , the converter is constantly flaring! & there is a definate knack to making the box change cogs. After 600kms I am getting the hang of it , accelerate briskly til it locks up , then back off gently to the required speed & the converter will stay locked I've learnt 2 things this week , 1) when the alternator bolt that holds the main wire on comes off! the car will only do 12kms max on battery power alone DOH! 2) where the timing belt runs round the crank there is a spacer & a Shaped washer , & if that shaped washer is put on the wrong way! , it shaves slivers off the timing belt!!! DOH! (I will try to get pics of this for future reference) But after all that........I'm Back
  13. Hi Impul I recently looked at a flowed VG30 bb as an upgrade , & thought it was a good replacement for the stocker. I ended up with a flowed 25 (To4e zorts wheel) coz it was available. The VG30 is a fairly easy fit and should be good fun , depending on the cost & condition.
  14. Update , the engine and trans are back where they are supposed to be! YAY Still have to bolt on alot of accessories , loom , air cond , cooler piping etc ( Go hard CMS drifter ) but fingers crossed it will be tonite. My turbo has returned from its 2nd rebuild in as many months thanx to the mysterious number 5 spark plug just catching the back of the exhaust wheel as it siad goodbye to the engine! On the upside I remembered to take pics of the To4e ehaust wheel , 54T comp wheel & new 12psi actuator :burnout: I also have my new fuel pump to go in the tank. It's a Walbro Gss341 out of the states . I'll fit that before the final tune *note : RB25det thermostat number is 21200-42L06 (76.5 degrees)* I'm so excited now , I'm about ready to Pop My Cookies.....
  15. That bloody Toddler is a sneaky lil trucker! It's a good thing his ride looks sweeeet for BEHIND! Doh and Yes Fane .... Mr Mills has a new 75hp wet shot with my name on it, that I am saving for YOU!
  16. It's getting there now My new engine is together......yay ( I got a wooly ) & they are just bolting on the ancillary's. Hopefully , it will go back in the hole this weekend ( or early next week ) so I can trailer the car to Perth for the computer install  just gotta fit the new fuel pump by then......... I'm excited Big Kev! *Note: for those RB25ers that want to use an RB30 water pump , it Does fit , but, you have to drill & tap 1 hole.(the stock pump hole is 10mm offset ) It's the top hole directly under the intake cam wheel *)
  17. Lauren.....so very glad that you are still here to tell us about it. I wish everyone involved a speedy recovery. Cheers Troy Rep.
