yeah that's the one I was having trouble with - does it just pull out and up.. I'll try it out this week probably tonight - had all the other points done and it's was pretty much off - just couldn't get the window controls off.. i'm thinking the clear plastic lining wasn't put back on properly and is causing the metal rods to rattle when going over bumps.. can't tell until i've got the door off..

Hmm.. fair enough than - so a smash repairer would mainly be the place to go.. are detailers mainly for polishing up the car and so forth.. or should I get things repaired at a smashy than get it all touched up at a detailer?

Rather than starting a new topic.. had my stereo installed on last weekend (one before).. when putting the drivers door panel back on the guys has made it develop a "wire" rattle - sounds like the lever arms for the door opening handle are rattling when going over bumps.. I've managed to get about 90% of the door interior off but i'm stuck in one part.. I can get the bit surrounding the opening handle off - that's easy.. also take all the screws off the bottom - and it's mostly free.. the bit I can't get free is the arm part with all the power window buttons are.. that whole section - there is one screw that I can take out but it is still caught near the hinge of the door end.. is there something i'm missing.. is there an extra screw that holds that bit down - it's in an R33 btw.

Afternoon everyone.. I'm wanting to get some of the rock chips and smallish dents out of my car and was wondering if people could recommend any detailers in the Sydney area - and also a rough guide on pricing.. I've done a search - didn't turn up too much.. Anyways - i've also got a couple of scratchs - largest being about 2cm's long that has a tiny bit of rust as it's down to the metal and was done by the previous owner.. Also scratches on my front bar, side skirts, and rear bar from previous owner.. I'm guessing a detailer should be able to fix those up - yes? also can the pop small dents out? i've got one that is just pushed in - not a creased scratch - just one that will pop out.. Any help would be great - prices also - I have no idea and haven't had a chance to get a quote.. Cheers Links

Mine doesn't have the mesh grill - it's just got a plastic trapezoidal shape that fits in where it is.. however - I have a factory option front bar..alot of grills are the same as mine.. e.g. no mesh - nissan silver "S" on the bonnet..

Installed a head unit in the R33 today, however i don't get any radio stations, am or FM, i brought the FM frequency convertor.. If you bought a new Australian head unit - you won't need a frequency converter.. you need a nissan double diversity adapter made by Aeropro AP358a (part no.) from autobarn which takes the 2 prong aerial from the nissan and has a single australian prong.. from what your saying - you put in a new head unit with a freq. converter which isn't needed.. the aerial is a plain old aerial - the HU controls the radio frequencies it receives..
