  1. 15 yrs imports dont need the adr tested doors. cos they were not aussie deliverd. nor do they need a new cat etc etc. its just bars/child restraints and mirror glass and a filler neck restricter. then engineers/bluslip etc etc.
  2. and if im not mistaken the sevs scheeme is no longer on isnt it. isnt that what raws is. the replacement??
  3. ok. heres the problem. if your doing it under the 15 year rule. it wont work cos its not 15 years old. and if its before 06/92 you cant either. under raws sheme. unless you doctor the de-reg papers and the seatbelts and the brakehoses. also the vin number. for the "fast" screenshot that you need for an import aproval. if its already here and being complied then yes. and god knows how they got it thru. we had to "export or destroy" our r32 test car cos it was a 6/92 not a 7/92 doh
  4. cool. we use a place over in pearth for the oil pumps on the utes. that make them from steel and get rid of the sinterd factory ones. seems rb isnt the only motor to suffer from it hehe
  5. hey russ, not meaning to pick all your parts but what diff ratio you running. or... is it the standard r32GTR ratio hehe.

  7. yeah... but i want to see if i can get heavy duty bearings for it. and we dont have a press at my new work and its an obscure jap close ratio thing. (not os-giken) so i dun know what syncros they take eek
  8. hrmmm. it seems they perform better than a cp5555 ap caliper in regard to taperd pad ware. not bad at all. do you have a pic of the brake rotor???
  9. yeah they dont have the windage tray that bolts to the girdle. with out that omg oil surge and blowby lol.

  11. oh. 25/26 same rod. (in aftermarket)
  12. diferand rod length and piston pin height for a longer throw crank. to keep the piston at the corect deck height. running a shorter rod will only lower the compression ratio. by alot. if you really wanter to do it you would have to have a pistion with a pin height 2mm higher to compinsate for the shorter rod.

  15. hrmm. very interesting. any pics of your radiator/oil cooler mod? i think if it works for you it will work for us. seing as your in such a hot climate. i should move my oil cooler to the pasenger brake duct. like the othere oil cooler on the drivers duct.

  17. yeah would of been good to go to the compact attack. but the last 2 times ive been have been a waste of time. the last one i didnt see anyone there. and the time before that there was only like 5 rwd turbo. what ever that class is. and ws over in 3 hours. pity cos its like 5 mins from my work. but i just went to the nitro champs. omg awsome. i had to set up the v8 utes etc etc.
  18. m and w is a good one, so is autronic. motec needs motec to drive it. but is made by m and w. do not get a msd.aem,or anything else. cos they willm burn out oif used in a street car.

  20. they are both eqally noisy. the 040 cavitates. (fuel pressure bouncing al over the place) it must be some sort of problem with air bubbles going thru thr screen. but yeah. 040 poo 044 in exacly the same position. sweet as.

  23. yess the lowmount lagmaster :respect: intersesting oldschool drag setup. just a ta45. big but very agg. they work but. running a airfilter???? all the ones ive seen dont lol. with the abs wiring melting wastegate. that sort of responce your talking of isnt to bad really. if its in a low gear. if this is you loading it up on the freeway then its a lagmaster
  24. regardless of that. it wasnt doing it before. 3 pound is f**k all more boost. and its not the oil return. the factory isnt idiots. i agree theres oil up top. but whats making it "blow out"? corner g-forces i think not. also. what turbo is on it????? this may sound strange but with my gtr i thought i stuffed the engine when it took aprox 5-10 mins of full boost driving to cover my engine bay and guards in oil after filling up the catchtank.(they were out of a blown motor with spun bearings) the problem? worn out turbo thrust bearings. it seems boost was leaking past the bearings in the turbo,presurising the crankcase and blowing it out the breathers. new turbo=fixed. worth a look at. if you have a smoke tester or make up a adapter to presurise the inlet tract befor the throttle body to see if t is thr turbo leaking. if not. do a leakdown test. also a long shot. has any part of the sump changed?? of the windage trays not been installed??
