The look for mostly: pod/cooler (only one mod to intake allowed) cat convertor (you need one) boost controller (variable boost is not allowed) blow off valve (must be a plumb back) exhaust (must be under 90db) aftermarket ecu (no modification to ecu is allowed) aftermarket turbo (not allowed) Thats the main stuff, but check the thread below for more info. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t156269.html

The only car I know that has been totally certified for emissions is BLKCRX (James), and he had to go to the labs at the Ford factory in Geelong. I'm not sure of the specifics but I know it was very pricey. He can be contacted through the CRX OzHonda forums. Hope that helps.

Golden rule with modified cars: Do it right the first time!

My 33 had an exedy twin plate in when i collected it, and the drive home was hell! Looked like such a d!(k over revving and stalling this line all over the place. But now i'm use to it and its great! Just need to use handbrake starts on any hills. But after driving a mates 34 with stock clutch I would never go back, when you can use a tuff clutch it makes driving that much better.

P's are like a massive target on your back, but if your not doing anything illegal then you have no problem.

NA skylines are as boring as bat sh!t, they will only leave you wanting a turbo. I had a drive of an NA Autech S15 the other day and that was a great car! (granted not as nice as the turbos) Light, and with decent power to learn with one you put an exhaust and a cold air setup on it. You get a great chassis, gearbox and suspension setup with plenty of power to learn in. Plus you can make S15's look sexy as! If i had a kid who wanted a sports car, I would be buying them an Autech S15 to learn on.

Will fit no problem. But will look a little weird IMO.

I used velcro also mate. I put it just to the right of the ignition, you can see the screen quite clearly with a quick glance. I'll try and post up a pic when i get home.

Check/clean the coils and ignition system.

By they way how is your RB30 with GT30 project going? Did it ever come to fruition?

Of course, do what you like with your money mate. Go for oil temp/pressure (lets you see if the engine's heart is pumping, and also if it has warmed up so you dont flog a cold engine), Boost needs no explanation. I thinks that all you really need, I just meant 5 guages I think would be overkill.

^^^ WHat he said. If you remove get rid of the AFM you should be able to vent until your heart is content!

I vote you save the money and spend it on something that actually needs upgrading.

If you dont know what they do I would suggest that you don't need them.

The technology used in our skylines is older and more outdated, however I think they are still very effective. You dont always need the latest and greatest.
