I currently have a Carbon Fibre Heat Shield in production for my R34... once it's done I'll post some photos up and look at mass producing them If I get a R33 and a R32 to draw up a template (takes 20minutes) I will also be looking at getting them done in CF

Hi all... My girlfriend is a self confessed speed-a-holic and over a period of 2 weeks (about a month back) she copped 3 speeding tickets from Sydney's wonderful tunnel systems (2 in the Eastern Distributor and one in the Harbour Tunnel). The speeds broken in all three cases lie in the first two brackets. I am not happy about this, neither is she... all the fines have now arrived and she is very upset and concerned as she did not know about it until she received the first one and I explained that yes there are cameras in all tunnels! Anyways, the very last one she received was taken on Good Friday (Double Demerits). Total fine was $200+ and 6 points. She received this fine yesterday through snail mail - letter only, no photo or anything - I'm not very cluey with this as I've never copped anything for speeding etc. etc. Now she is on Green Ps and is elligible for a full liscence. As of now she has 3 points... if she takes this 6 pointer she will be on negative 3 which means loss of liscence. My question is this - if she goes for her full liscence immediately, will she be in the clear as the 6 points will technically come out of her Ps and not her full (I think the points are charged to the day of the offence). If anyone has a solution or suggestion, I'd like to hear it please... thanks in advance for your time and brainpower Damn speed-a-holic-chicks-in-corollas-who-don't-look-out-for-speed-camera-signs!

Thanks for that Bob... Yes as my sidekick has mentioned it slides straight up... The Bosch 040 sucks from the bottom of the pump, the stock pump utilizes a "sock" which reaches all the way to the bottom of the tank. Now here's the choice you have to make; 1) Somehow fix the 040 to the bracket (I had to modify mine) and make a custom extension to the bottom of the tank - you will need a reducer made up and some thick silicon hose that goes to the bottom. 2) Extend the fuel hose and just drop the pump into the bottom of the tank. You may get some "noise" But with a little bit of thought, you can get around this. I went for Option 1) as it seemed like the better one to follow (at a cost of course). If I was to do it again, I would get the Nismo or Tomei drop in's or use the stock pump and run it into an external pump + surge tank setup. Cheers S

Which pump are you putting in... I hope you have a direct replacement otherwise you're in for a little surprise

The stock fuel pump is mounted on a "gold" bracket... it is set at an angle into the fuel tank (about 45 degrees). Take your shirt off and reach down into the fuel tank you will be able to reach the pump easy. From memory, the bracket just slides off it's holding plate with a firm tug - there are no bolts holding it in. NOTE: Make sure you don't have any sparks or lights shining down there... don't want a fire starting now do ya?

We have the seats but they are on hold at the moment for one of our mates... if the deal does not go ahead the seats will be listed on here. Condition of the seats: Excellent - No Fading, No Wear * Needs a vaccum though, but this will be arranged prior to sale*

A lot of people have enquired and seemingly showed genuine interest up till the point of payment - with so many parts floating around it is difficult to keep track of who wants what so if we don't hear back from you in a few days, we'll assume you don't want it anymore. Just a question, the R34 dash is semi-3D - does this item cater for that or does it just make the entire unit flat again?

I think Munna1 is on the money with the SAFC statement... we tried everything to boost my turbo past 11psi and the most we got was 11.2psi before the rich and retard thing started to happen. Sucks not having the turbo do its thing to its potential! Ah well, not for long
