  1. In my instance no... I'm not going to speak for anyone else because I really don't know, just that in my instance the answer was no.
  2. I think personal preference / expecatations would have a lot to do with the BB v Bush decision (not to mention GTST's point on wallet size) But seriously for under $1k where can you go wrong
  3. Aaron, I hope my turbo remains unique and special!
  4. Thanks for letting out the secret of my turbo Aaron HeeHee they only know it's different, they don't know "how" different Anyways, I'm more than satisfied with the turbo and until I get bored of it (which is when I manage to unlock the ECU) I won't be changing! And yeah, respect that bishes - who says you need a full exhaust to get 200rwkw Expensive way of doing it, but it's doable NOTE: The banjo bolts are very very important - I learnt this during my installation! New bolts from Enzed cost $35 each.
  5. And yes, oil and coolant lines are re-used!
  6. Just look at my dyno graph.... even though it's half the price and journal bearing, I'm telling you it is very comparable! I should really put my torque curve up Nah, I'm not going to argue - my knowledge is not that great about turbos and I admit that. All I'll say is that I'm very happy with my pet snail and can't wait to feed it some steroids! Installation is bolt on - provided all smaller fittings and all that are purchased, shouldn't take that long.
  7. ross80: you must be doing something wrong! Last time I was on the Gold Coast, all I saw was "hi-beaming" everywhere! Tangles: you're just special! Where can I get those buttons? I believe the $4.80 in my coin tray is a small price to pay for buttons
  8. Checked in the coin compartment above your right knee? I always forget I have money there!
  9. meh, drugs - beaches - topless women - and sunshine? not my thing
  10. You're moving from one chaos to another
  11. Where you moving to GTST? And BB, it's OK - I'm having a blonde-day too
  12. GTST were you from the Northern Beaches?
  13. Journal Bearings are bush bearings.... not ball bearing. Proven results are on my website - look in the Tuning Results section! Sorry for the lack of updates on that thing, haven't had time. Modifications list has grown heaps since then too Even without the stuff that WILL be going in and a re-tune I'm on about 220rwkw at the moment but it's running REALLY REALLY RICH!
  14. BB - Hitman didn't tune my stock ECU - he tuned the SAFC2 which is in my car. The stock ECU has a lot of operating parameters as we all know - we couldn't wind up boost past 11psi as the car would cut out at 4.5K rpm. Anyways, new ECU going in soon along with 2 more tunes so I'm going to be a happy boy! Everyone else: NBP is now the reccomended Sydney installer for all of Sliding Performance's Sydney turbo sales. Currently the arrangement is: buy a turbo from Aaron, add another $330 to get it installed (fluids included)
  15. Common problem in a lot of R34s that have been "tinkered" with... Most Common Solution: Opent up ECU Compartment Double Check ALL Wiring and make sure it's all connected Make sure the loom is securely fastened and neatly tucked away. The above sorted my instance out after having exactly the same problem as you described. More common if you have installed something like a SAFC or AVCR. Thanks S
  16. Journal Bearings Steel Wheels You KEEP your turbo! Sorry, need to ask Aaron about the flow rates... but I'd assume it's large considering I could boost to 13psi on my standard turbo but only manage 11psi on this one before the standard ECU starts to play dumb.
  17. Dyno Graph is on my website... follow the link below. Links; he doesn't want to use your turbo It's not good enough, he replaces it with a "new" item! PM me for more details if you want, Northern Beaches Performance has a few deals going on with Sliding Performance at the moment.
  18. 666DAN, could you please PM my mate Eric (ecl) and tell him you got a full set available... I WANT MY SET BACK - DAMMIT!
  19. I can't speak more highly about the turbo Aaron had made me... admittedly my one is a little bit "different" to his other items but it is based on the same theories. I'm making 200rwkw with 10-11psi (boost drops off due to other issue) which is at the absolute limit of my ECU after tuning at Hitman. Lag is minimal, the turbo sound is orgasmic and yes I'm very very happy with what I got. Aaron is a top guy, he'll answer any of your questions and will ensure you "learn" something from it rather than just buy something from him. In a few weeks I will be able to boost the thing into it's efficiency range of 18-22psi, should be very interesting to see what happens then! My 2c
  20. I have a R34 Xenon Conversion Kit available for $200, PM me if you're keen... it's off another R34 and it works 100%
  21. Hand Brake Handle and Leather Boot now SOLD!
  22. Esprit - no more DIN pockets sorry nuffsaid took the last one! Bass - If you are talking about the seal that is at the base of the glass closest to the door then we have both available. Both are straight and mark-free. $80 each or $150 a pair. If you are talking about the seals above the windows then both are gone sorry!
  23. I have changed mine to the Splitfires yes... I need to retain my stock ones for something else though!
  24. Already got my grubby paws on one from Rob for a custom bonnet fabrication. Material and quality is excellent for the price! Got to get that Z-Tune look Cheers S
