i dont know, i was kind of hoping to go racing but havent heard anything so i guess its not happening. should have known you were just a dyno queen.

not heaps to report. have been chipping away at the long list of little fidly jobs like mounting ECU and com port, fitting temp senders, gear shift boot, tow hooks, etc. heaps fidly and time consuming but has to be done. have some second hand rubber on those rays datonas and they look good. scored some second hand semi slicks of one of the brut utes. the biggest i can fit on the front is a 235. have a 245 comfortably on the rear. going to get wired soon. even put engine oil in it today so very close.

youll have to give everyone the heads up on what events your shooting in the future. awesome work, the WRX from Process West in a slide looks awesome.

i know with ANDRA you have to get your car teched every couple of years, is this the same case with CAMS? i know my cage meets ANDRA but not sure what the go is for CAMS, and yes, 3k is on the money.

sounds like you have it under control.....i guess the first thing to do would be to find avalabillity of tracks, then book everything around that. EC, Wakefield, something in Melbourne maybe.

hmmmm, yes, very nice. The Carbon Fibre is a bit overkill though, and tune lenght intake runners will be expensive i dare say. Harrop do one also but 12k

yeh, but you have to run a divider plate between the engine and the bonnet over the radiator support. dont worry Jase, you will see...

thanks Phunky, still a while off though. hoping to have it all done for powercruise, that will give me the oportunity to run everything in and sort out any teething problems before i track it.

they are off our Commodore. They are 1&3/4" primary pipes into 3". they had to be modified to fit but only slightly.

some hot rod guys told me there was 10kw in doing it. Starting to bang it all together, all going sweet, i guess thats the advantage in triall fitting everything first. ill finish fitting radiator, and dummy up engine harness so electrician can start. can also start buying bends for the exhaust

Picked up heads after sorting out the valve train issue which ended up being a dodgy set of locks. Got a new set of Manley locks and all was sweet. ARP head stud kit, MLS Felpro head gaskets, Comp Cam anti pump-up roller lifters, Comp Cam pushrods & Yella Terra rockers. I know that the pushrods may be a bit foreign to some people. lol. Also fitted stainless ARP exhaust manifold stud kit, as they were cheaper than GM. Comp ended up at 10.9:1 after the deck machine, which is excellent as standard is 10:1 Will finish setting up the rocker pre-load and sit the engine in tomorro.

the amount of fabrication work you are doing is unbelievable, and all quality. well done mate, your making steady progress. looks awesome.

i can see where your coming from but i cant see it being an issue unless you are doing some serious endurance work. do you overflow your surge back to the main tank?
